https://celticswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/celtics/2022/04/12/nba-boston-celtics-worst-seasons/77166387007/
The last time the Boston Celtics started a season 0-3 was in the 2013-14 season, which was Brad Stevens' first year as head coach....

The 2013-14 season is also noted as one of the worst regular seasons in the team's history, with a final record of 25-57, according to Celtics Wire.

The problem lies if Queta or the Celtic big man is not in the paint and the guys who have to rebound are PP, White, and Sam.

They're just too small.

Good thing X nailed to the bench, not saying he would have won the game for us, but at least he has some bulk

This not just on the front court, its the whole team, Derrick White is being destroyed on the boards, also this team is dead last in assists, our offense is just as bad as the rebounding.

They lose either way, they can’t rebound.

It's not as though Simons helps with that.

We need to find a starting center. That's the only way.

All he does is rebound, what would the Celtics do with that?

The problem is we're looking at is this: since the title, the office has added 7 players looking for a long term diamond in the rough

Scheierman
Minott
Hugo
Garza
Amari
Shulga
Simons

And Hugo is by far looking the best, and what even is Hugo, an energy defender and play finisher? It's possible all the other guys are nilch and even Hugo, it's been a nice start, but I don't know what Hugo is gonna be.

Brad taking so few swings on the draft instead for young vets their original team is not interested in re-signing, I don't agree with that strategy. Jaden Springer, could have been 2 seconds including #41 in last draft. #32 could have been Kalkbrenner instead it's turned into Shulga and Amari. We just have not added talent for years and years except bringing in massively expensive vets like Porzingis and Jrue -- and that approach just wasn't economically sustainable

I hope Hugo becomes a great player, everything is hinging on him IMO

González is not showing much on the glass yet. He's a perimeter defender mainly, which is fine for now.

Team definitely needs another big if Boucher, Garza, Tillman, Minott, Walsh, etc, can't get it done.

He'd never admit it, but I honestly think Brad is executing a soft tank. He knows this team can't rebound and he's not going to do a thing to address it. Bassey would obviously be a help rebounding. My .02

Brad sucks at drafting.
