C's played some spirited full-court defense and got off to a very good start. JB was very good on offense. Hugo was very good on defense. Pritchard looked much more comfortable. Minott provided a nice spark in the 4th. We threatened to steal a win at the end. But we couldn't secure rebounds down the stretch and we lost. And it took forever sheesh.

This season should just be about getting Hugo some minutes and finding a rotation piece or two out of these random players we’ve got.

It really is a good way to tank. Just disable ability to rebound.

It will be very interesting to see if they make any moves to correct it in the short term. If they don't I reckon the front office really is soft tanking regardless of what the players and coaches want.

Not sure how happy JB, White and PP would be about it though.

How is this just on Queta? you dont have a PF, the entire team cant rebound, our pick and roll plays are just picks since no one passes inside, and were last in assists and 3PT%.

We have more problems than just rebounding, Queta and Boucher should be playing together most of the time, that would help the rebounding massively.

This is a 43-46 win team if Joe coaches well and everyone plays well. If not, it's a lottery team. Right now, Joe has been average through 3 games, Prichard has been off, White isn't playing well, Queta, Boucher, and Simons aren't giving us what the team needs. Because of that, we are a lottery team.

The effort is there, but he lost a lot of talent in Tatum, Horford, Jrue and Kornet. KP was useless in the playoffs, but was good in the regular season.

We have a few problems. Rebounding is the obvious one. We have no PG play. The offense has just been who can get their own and then chuck a shot central. I’m also noticing that the bigs can’t get a rebound because our guards can’t keep their man out of the paint. Watch for the rebounds, our bigs are always away from the basket or on someone else’s man trying to help. Then the guards who got beat are 2ft tall, apparently, and can’t rebound or box out!

Just go back and look at the tape, all those rebounds come from a breakdown on the perimeter. OK, maybe not all, but a large amount. Of course our little guys can’t then box out or grab the rebound, because they are left in there against bigs from the other team and guys that will out hustle them.

We start two guys that are supposed to be point guards, at least capable of it, but I haven’t seen the offense ran much at all in the games. Then add onto that, our best shooters can’t shoot, except Pritchard finally finding his shot. No shooters means the defense gets to be lazy, then it means clogged sets, and wasted time.

Then Simons gets in the game, he’s supposed to be the other point guard, and he can’t run the offense either. Just watch the defenders, they clogged up any lane for the ball handlers. If they don’t have to worry about people shooting, they have no worries.

Time to find an offensive assistant coach! The guys can’t shoot, that would help a lot, but we’re gonna need more and more cutting and Joe just drawing up better plays. Heck, even when we cut, where is the ball getting there???

Amari was a GREAT rebounder in the SEC last season. Let's see it.
