2026 NBA Draft thread

Post#1 » by TheSuzerain » Sun Oct 26, 2025 11:50 pm

Exhibition season for college ball.

Might have some very strong talent at the top. Both Darryn Peterson and Cam Boozer look #1 OA quality very early on.

Been talking this class up for quite a while. Looks to be the best class in top tier talent in the past decade.

I’d take DP AJ over Zion Morant Flagg.

Really like Ament and Yessafou. Think Mikel could be special too.

I think we will get our pick and Blazers pick. My guy is Ngonga from Duke. Incredible IQ and offensive passing and skill. Strong rim protector. Don’t know about his feet in PNR yet. He will go 12-20 IMO.

I like Braylon Mullins as a shooter. Kid is a gamer that can D up too. Like his functional athleticism.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Wouldn't that be something?

Not something that would actually happen, but something indeed.

Here’s my guy for the Bulls.
Our future C. Elite IQ and length. Brick wall. Can’t move him in the post.
Lots of ball skills. Elite passer. 3 ball and FTs look really solid too.

Pete reminds me of Carlos Boozer.
Maybe a lil Paulo.

Not sold on how his game will translate. Seems like a halfcourt player.

My guy Yessoufou with a strong first game.

He will be gone by the time we pick and our POR pick.

I think we draft a shooter to replace Huerter and a C. Ngongba is the C target and Braylon Mullins is the wing shooter. He’s out 6 weeks with an ankle so his stock will drop. Hope he still comes out though.

Seems to be a special class, still not sure what I think about Boozer.

Mikel Brown of Louisville looks good also. Crafty guard

I like Ngonga also.

I'm really hoping we get the Portland pick this year. If both Bulls and Blazers sneak into playoffs, we can get two picks in 15-20 range.

Personally, at that range, I would be ALL FOR drafting TWO Centers. We have Matas and Giddey set for several years to come. We have lots of cap space and can use it to resign Coby (if he shows out this year to confirm his fit with Giddey). We NEED a center though, and if we want to find it through the draft we need to do it right now, so he can have a year or two to develop and still have some guaranteed time with Giddey/Matas (and Coby?). And the second win/forward can be filled in FA with a vet (and we'd have some bench depth in place with Pat and Noa)

Centers are hard to draft, they boom-bust. You could get a Bam/Gobert, or you could get a Thabeet/Wiseman. Then there is injuries with young bigs.

That's why I say, if we have 2 firsts, use them both on Center prospects, giving MUCH higher odds that we actually find our starting center in this specific draft.

This hinges on Coby proving to be our 2-guard worthy of another big-time contract. Otherwise, using both picks on a Center with a big hole on the wings isn't as wise if there some BPA on board.

I’m not sold on Boozer’s game translating either.

Wilson is showing much more that will translate.

This draft 5-10 is elite as well.

If we get two 1sts I’d like a C like Ngongba and a shooter like Mullins.

Also game for trading a 1st for a current player that fits who already has some NBA experience.
