No Sarr = no rim protection. Our other centers are incapable of stopping anyone at the rim.

Can't play everybody. We miss Bilal's defense. You can see that tonight and where George has to guard everyone in all three games. TBH, CJ should just come off the bench so all those guys can jack shots but seriously, unless Middleton is hurt for a change (illness?), I'm benching Bub when Bilal is ready to play starter's minutes. He's been pretty bad in three games but at least he'll try defensively and we need a PG off the bench.

Welp, tank patrol is back. Either Dallas is that bad or Kyshawn just had a flukish performance. Disappointing that we would be this bad and selfish when the Hornets just played last night and B. Miller is injured for a change.

CJ is just so, so bad. It’s really hard to overstate, it’s not just the shot jacking but also the terrible turnovers robbing us of any momentum. He’s much worse than Jordan Poole was at the moment.

Tank commander CJ McCollum reporting for duty LOL. With his loyal assistant Bub Carrington haha.

I'm done with Bub. He does nothing out there to suggest he'll ever be an impact NBA player. Play Will Riley over him. Riley looks way better. Bilal needs to start over Bub when he gets back. Bub just is horrible out there.

Agreed, Bub needs to go to the bench. Although I hate how much he's shooting CJ is the best dribbler on the team vs pressure. Take that out the lineup and we struggle to get into sets.

He's a bit of a chucker but I don't remember him being like this on New Orleans and Portland. He's also a bit heavier than he was when he was in his prime. There's zero chemistry between him, Bub and George. Charlotte, surprisingly, is playing really good team ball and it starts with LaMelo and ends with Kon, who is a hell of a young player.

Agreed. At this stage Riley is a better proposition than Bub. Carrington’s best case is a second string combo guard off the bench. Limited handles and no ability to get to the rim.

If you're going to play Tristan and Bagley a combined 21 minutes at center, you're really not serious about winning.

I can't give up on a 19-year old kid when it comes to a rotation player because he did play well down the stretch (and cost us Ace) in garbage time last season. He should be benched for Tre. Put CJ at the point and force him to playmake instead of jacking shots all the time with Ky as the secondary ballhandler. Bring Bub off the bench and let him gain confidence or just move on next season. Not every Dawkins pick is going to hit.

Riley will probably lose PT when Bilal comes back but he shows a lot of potential. Just has to hit the weights.

Sarr, George and Tre are the core. Bilal and Riley can be hopefully be added to the cause. Then there is Champ who always gives effort. The rest of this roster (including Bub) do not look like part of a successful competitive team of the future. Quite disappointed about Cam. He has all the tools but his attitude so far is no bueno.

The tank is strong in CJ. And Bub. Watching them is our penance to the lottery Gods.

I look forward to the day when we aren't playing scrub vets big minutes, or any minutes other than garbage time.

Didn't expect this garbage performance coming off Dallas and with Charlotte playing last night but the tank continues. Really disappointed in shot selection, defense and rebounding in the second half.

I think this will be an issue all year since we don't have a traditional power forward or a decent backup center. Rebounding -13 tonight. Sarr had just four rebounds. We're killing CJ and others tonight but at 7-1, 240, he needs to grab more then 4 boards in 25 minutes.

George was bad tonight on offense, with 3 turnovers, 0-4 from 3pt and didn't get to the line. Did grab 8 rebounds and had five assists. I'm surprised we had 25 assists tonight because it felt like we barely passed the ball in the second half.

Corey Kispert with almost 20 minutes of nothing: 0 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal and his customary lack of D. Only 1 shot attempted…

I like what I've seen from Tre on defense the last couple of games. If he is just an average defender that will be huge because he will be a force on offense.

Tonight his shot was off and he forced a couple of 3s late but still had 18 with a 57% TS.
