Nice come back. Team and and particularly Lamelo are looking more mature to start this season.

The negative Nancy in me is saying we would be 3-0 if Sion ate all of Mann's minutes last night lol

that was literally my only plan as a kid, i was super quick but dribbled like rookie Salaun

He's balling. For someone who wasn't really happy when we took him, I must admit he's made me a believer he can be much more than just a role player. It wouldn't shock me if he gets a all-star appearance sometime during his career.

Kon has played well against Tre and VJ head to head and back to back. Nice to see my opinion of his college game has translated to the pros.
Sion is a huge surprise so far.
Kalk is about what I thought. Playable but not matchup proof at all.
Liam, I wish was playing more/better. But, dude is still just a rook too.

We are deep ASF this year. Usually we would fold if 1 of our top 3 players are out. You barely noticed we were missing Miller tonight.

Melo really played a much more complete game tonight. Yes he jacked a few poorly timed 3’s but made some tough shots, continually looked to drive the ball, played some really tough defense…and the triple double. Loved how Mikes finally shook off the crappy night in the 4th. Kon is gaining experience and contributing at an exponential rate! Sexton is a key asset…better keep him. James is flipping me out…so surprised how good and poised he’s looking. That starting lineup I wanted and they played was key. Kalk struggled at times, as did Moose, and yes we still need a quality starting center, but the bruise brothers do make some plays at times. Also gotta say Tiddy contributed good minutes tonight. He is rebounding well, playing some stout defense at times, his footwork is smoother.

Tre Mann is not right. He’s struggling with everything, his quickness is off, handle is messy, he’s slow to react. I’d play James more minutes and use Tre in short bursts for a while.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

This might be the most optimistic I've been about this franchise since 1998? 1997? The big ifs are health, health, health as always. But LaMelo looks to be taking this season serious, Sexton was just such a much needed adult in the room who HUSTLES. Kon and Miller are just a blessing on the wings, Our 2-headed monster at Center is like the 20th-best center rotation in the league which is much better than anyone could've expected. Like I hated them blowing that Sixers game, I got the "oh no same ole HornCats" vibes when they started to blow this Wiz game but they settled down and beat the tar out of them late. We have a LONNNGGGG way to go, but I like the pieces and the attitude of our best player for the first time since Kemba was dealt.

EDIT: I still wish we would trade the domestic abuser but that doesn't appear to be in the cards

I'd still prefer VJ (not that we had a choice) but Kon seems like a fine 3rd/4th banana

Sarr also on a minute restriction. He was the big catalyst for them and was on his way to a hell of a night

Could this be the first draft that we've ever hit on 3 players?

I would still prefer Flagg or VJ (maybe even Harper) but Kon has been no slouch at the 4th pick. The difference between them has not been a chasm or whatever.

Yeah, but we blew the doors off both those bad teams and one of those games was on the road. I will take any win on the road. We had plenty of chances to beat the 76ers as well, just didn't close the deal.

The matchup with sarr was especially a bad matchup for kalk. If moose starts both the first and third quarter I think sarr ends up with half his totals.
