Yeah, let’s hope for a repeat of two nights ago, with the addition of a good Sharpe shooting game. I’d like to see the Clips blown out by 30. Run. Run. And more run vs. this ancient, but savvy team. I expect a lot of Portland foul trouble in this game.

LAC able to navigate around Yang without any issues

Great open court drive by Avdija

Bad sequence of possessions there by Sharpe, Collins works him over in the post for an easy score on one end, then turnover on the other end

Sharpe blocked by Lopez, no foul called

I missed the first part of 1Q, but I’ve seen Sharpe take three? 3pt shots all missed badly. Really struggling with the shooting to start the year, and it’s all based on the 3pt shot from 2pt range. he is fine.

This was what I was worried about when Scoot got injured. As soon as Jrue sat down, the team was rudderless. Wesley is not a PG.
At least get Deni in there.

Sharpe started strong going for the midrange and drives, but then he starts settling for bad threes.

Second quarter we open with a small ball lineup. Dangerous against Brook Lopez (or Zubac)

POR defense is causing LAC some issues, also picking up a lot of fouls

Good steal by Wesley too bad he doesn’t have the offense to go with the defense

DC with a 3, that shot is looking better and better

Great offensive rebounding effort by DC there led to a basket by Sharpe

Wesley is such a pest on defense. I love it!

Splitter isn't concerned about leaving guys with 3 fouls on the court (Wesley and Tisse). Conventional wisdom says you automatically take them out, which is the wrong call.

Our young legs made the Clips look OLD out there, despite them being more skilled. We can wear out a lot of teams this way.

Sharpe finally hit a 3, now 1-5, 15pts on 15 shots

Avdija has got to stop complaining after every single drive where he doesn’t get a bucket

DC just does a great job of keeping a lot of possessions alive

Nice two man game between DA and DC

Wesley’s shot is fugly, just stick to defense, stop shooting

Clearly, Grant has a green light or is acting like he has one, but he is 1-7 tonight, might want to pass the ball a little? 0 ast/1reb btw

POR FT advantage is currently 27-10, have to believe that is going to start to tighten up

I don’t think I’ve seen Sharpe get blocked at the rim this many times in any game

The Blazers had 1 good quarter but then disintegrated. How many shots did they miss at the rim? They allowed the clippers too many wide open 3s. Also the refs affected this game as well with some terrible calls. One of the worst being Kawhi jumping up and down with the ball and not being called for a travel.

The Blazers struggle to rebound with Donovan is not on the court.
