man what are we like scoring almost 130 per night so far and this is while bricking all our 3s...the offense is not a problem but is darko the worst defensive coach in league something

Even if he’s hitting 3s, he has like none of the intangibles a guy like Lowry had. He isn’t a starting pg on a legit team

Would like to see shead get more meaningful mins in the 4th with the starters, him and Scottie guarding pick n rolls would cause chaos

IQ actually looks better than last year. His shot needs to go down though. He has missed everything so far.

He has been getting to the rim a lot more and finishing with contact and also making some great passes out there. There's even some added explosiveness there.

I agree. He’s still a Lou will type to me though. He’s not the pg that this particular team needs imo. I doubt he’s ever gonna be a championship pg.

But obviously with his price tag he’s gonna start

He is the worst coach in the league, period imo. Has no redeeming qualities of an nba head coach nit sure why we continue this charade

We’ve got bigger issues I think

Like paying Ingram, Barrett and Quickley a combined 100M to play no defense and jack up shots inefficiently

IQ and Poeltl would be a nice pair off the bench.

obviously this team has enough offense, but we gotta mix it up somehow and get more defense in the starting lineup

What does he offer when his shot is not falling? Maybe we were too spoiled watching Kyle Lowry for years.

I was trying to figure out a hypothetical replacement for IQ last night. Which PG right now can actually guard their position while hit threes consistently? I couldn't really come up with a legitimate trade target, but sillier things have happened before, right? I wonder who could slide into that starting PG role and actually give the Raptors what they sorely need?

Eh, we were fine until Poeltl and Barrett got in foul trouble in the 3rd, causing massive size loss to a huge Mavs team who took advantage with a favorable whistle.

Even then I'd IQ just shot well from 3 we'd have still been ip. Although yes inside defence has been concerning, but this has been, next to wemby and Houston, 2 biggest frontcourts in the league.

Which is trouble when your center gets into foul trouble. Guy can't even get 20 minutes in.

So this start will suck because of the matchups, but still not worried. Being how bad IQ has been shooting and we know he can, real question mark was offence which otherwise has been fine.

Shooting 49% and 39% is great, so if we can keep that up and lower the fouls, we're in for a good time facing the bottom 10 east teams.

The chances of Bobby making a trade in the first 2 months are 0%. If it were me, I'd be trying to pry Jones out of NO. Do we have anything the Pels need? Not at all, but it's Dumars....

If this season goes downhill with a probable Ingram injury at some point during the season and we are back in tank mode....How bad will trading that Pacers pick that will prolly be top 7 as well look.....Imagine having 2 top picks in such a good draft class. Just happy we kept our pick but might have been a bad look to try and put a competitive team together that can't compete if we struggle this season.

No excuses. When you're a bad team, there are no easy teams on the schedule. Dallas was 0-2 including losing by 10 against Washington who won only 18 games last season. They were beatable and we didn't get it done.

It would be a way more balanced team, vs top heavy. Those two play well together too.

This is our destiny as long as Poeltl remains compromised (I’m assuming his back injury is hampering his play).

IQ
RJ
BI
Poeltl
Dick
Mamu

We can’t have these guys be top rotation guys and expect a good defense. Even at full health we’re an average defensive team. With Poeltl hobbling around we have no chance.

If this Poeltl injury lingers we are screwed defensively.

There are options but we’ll have to attach multiple picks with Quickley if he keeps playing like this.

They just extended him, so that seems pretty unlikely.

Yea, you're right.

Their track record dictates we should keep riding this out.

Oh yea. 3 games into the season?

Or the tanking injury filled season?

Hope Shaed learns how to shoot 3s at a proficient rate? Would rather have IQ coming off the bench, but thats not happening

Who is actually a realistic target for an upgrade (even if Quickley was hitting 3s and had better trade value)
