Do you like it that much?

I don't know if Anthony Davis is going to be on the trade block. There will be somebody good we can get though, if we want to use that kind of package.

Or we could try to sign a free agent with the money (Cam Thomas?) and keep the picks for ourselves.
It's a good start, but they would probably want Kon instead of Salaun.

I cannot imagine spending that much for the privilege of paying 32 year old Anthony Davis to be hurt and have his game fall off on our watch
At some point we have to go for it. If you like me and believe in LaMelo/Miller as young franchise caliber players then this is the kind of move you make if you serious about winning.

AD is injury prone yes, but when he plays he's still a top 5 big in this league. There has been no indication of a decline in his game.

Who hurt you

I was being dead serious though. That was the game I was most interested in watching if I had League Pass. Instead I watched the 10 minute highlights on Youtube which is basically just all the made baskets. But it looked like it would have been a hell of a game. Apparently Westbrook made some boneheaded plays at the end that Almost cost the game for the Kings.

when I watch non Hornet games it's almost always Western Conference games. Been that way since I started watching the NBA back in the 80s. I always rooted for the Western Conference. All of my favorite non Hornet teams were out West.

Fears has some of the best handles and change of pace ability in the league. He's gonna be a problem. Probably some d fox level is his top end comp.
queen was such a mixed bag in Summer League. The good stuff was so good and the bad stuff was so bad. How did he look last night?

Zion and Wemby were going after one another.

I was really impressed with Queen last night, did an excellent Julius Randle impression.

What I think is funny in this over reaction from Heat fans demanding compensation for the trade is they act like us not informing them that Terry was under investigation if true that the Hornets new and without that information) caused him to play terribly over the past 18 months. They've had a year and a half of Terry and heading into the season he was completely out of their rotation, which was completely unrelated to him being under investigation.. This has had zero impact on their on court wins and losses. The only thing this has hurt them in was their ability to potentially trade Terry's expiring deal this year.

The bottom line is Terry was washed as a player when that trade occurred. Anyone who paid attention to the Hornets That season could see it. It's why I was not bothered when Iota when we traded him. He was completely empty calories. He was putting up inflated stats on a terrible team but he was no longer the marginally impactful player he was in the previous two seasons

He definitely looks pro ready. Might be a steal for Memphis.

That is leverage that they took away from the Heat.

Whether the league forces Charlotte to take full responsibility for not disclosing or cops to it itself, we are owed here. The FO needs to fight to have at least the next couple of years of Charlotte's first round draft picks surrendered to the Heat. 1 for the pick we traded and one as a penalty. Unlikely that they will rig it for us like they did Dallas, that would be too obvious. But at least we would have a high draft pick since Charlotte sucks.

These Miami Rozier tears taste good!

AT LEAST multiple years first rounders compensation AND Silver rigging the lottery for them

The level of shot making and offense in the league is at an insane level. 10 years ago Lamelos 38 13 13 game would have been one of the most insane stat lines of the entire NBA season. Now it's not even the biggest performance of the night as the Lakers freaking 3rd option eclipsed it it. All the guady numbers at first seem cool to fans but im not sure if i enjoy this level of bias the offensive player had now a days

on the back of 22 fts
the league has an officiating problem, as usual.
