I been very vocal about nba and gambling issue & notion that betting houses are part of sponsorship of league. League that is already in very shaky ground in post Aspiration-gates.

This is huge and terrible for a league. This might actually be worst back to back stuff that ever happened to nba.

Keep in mind how fast & quick was Silver and NBA to proclaim Rozier "cleared from everything" while FBI just said "nop".

And now, months after that false claim by NBA, Rozier isn't even biggest NBA fish to fall, rather ACTIVE COACH, who is btw also former superstar, finals MVP, all star and one of top 100-ish best players ever.

Silver should just step down. People are literally cheating & doing illegal stuff in front of his nose. And he either knows nothing, or has part of a deal. I hope he is just dumb or league will burn.

Silver has been abysmal to be honest.

A current player shouldnt have ownership over an agency while playing... period.
Players should be immediately blacklisted from the league for rigging games or involved in gambling on the sport they are employed currently. Its no different than insider trading.

What do you guys think of Joel Embiid's future in PHI? Anyone thinks if PHI has a bad start, somehow Joel Embiid is going to be on the trade market? What is his health status?

If somehow Philly struggles, I really do think in my opinion, they are going to get rid of his contract and start the youth movement with Edgecome and Maxey plus parting ways with PG.

That will be interesting to watch. PHI has no choice but to win this season. But i can hardly see them getting anywhere if somehow they would struggle with injuries again. We will see...

Edgecombe 15/6/8 with 3 steals and a block as an encore.

Cedric Coward 27 on 13 shots with no turnovers +36

Kalkbrenner 14 points on 7-7

Javon Small 16/6 on 5-6

Kon 14 pts , Sion 10 pts 5 shots, Asa Newell 12/10

Have a night 2025 NBA draft class, my lord. That's with just 5 games going on!

Yea, rookies are smoking hot early this season.

Edgecombe has been eye popping to me. Him and Maxey, with so much speed, agility, mobility look nasty together.

Nobody is taking Embiid's contract off their hands, it's the worst conract in the league currently, 60+ mln. per year until 2029 for a guy who is chronically injured and has never had a healthy playoff run in his career.

Austin Reaves is a better offensive hub than anyone we have on our roster

I have argued the whole year that Reaves is the perfect get but many disagreed. Guy is a fantastic (better than Bane) offensive player. Rare combination of high volume/high eff. shooting, playmaking and driving + finishing ability + the ability to draw fouls at a super high rate.
He pretty much does everything on offense at least at very good level.

Reaves is excellent playmaker who just happens to play with some of best playmakers of our generation.

He had game last year with Lebron with 14 assists on 1 turnover, had game without Lebron with 13 assists, he also had 16 assists game last year.

Anyway, depressing to watch how easy all those stars score 30 and 40 points at the start of the season on 15 of 20, 15 of 25.... Shots.
Even Barnes looks like a star again with the high paced offense were he gets thousands of fastbreak points and his weaknesses are less obvious.

Based on the scoring totals I'm seeing across the board this season...I'm thinking defense is not the primary concern. Nice to have, necessary to go far, but useless if you can't keep up on the other end.

Reaves was my guy too. He's an awesome player and the defense is not great, but I think it is blown a little out of proportion because of how loud Lakers fans are when blaming someone for their failures even though that roster is mediocre.

Probably wasn't available though, but would be surprised who ends up being available with Suns pick in the offer

He’s insane.

And I’ve been saying now that the Spurs are 3 steps above Orlando in terms of potential and prospects. The rich get richer.
