I believe I predicted 7-9 season. They’re well on their way to 6-9-1.

This is what happens when the defense is absolute trash.

On their way to 7-9-1

I'm still hopeful 9-6-1 can be done as long as the defense improves.

Let's face it, the Cowboys lost to the Eagles, Bears, and Panthers in a close game that could've gone either way.
Dropped passes and blown coverages were the reasons why the Cowboys lost those 3 games.

The Cowboy offense is elite.

But the defense is trash.

It's not too late to upgrade or make changes.

Oh yea, I always forget they added that extra game. I’m going to stick with only 6 wins though. 6-10-1. 7 wins would mean they win 5 more games. I don’t see 5 more wins on the schedule. Honestly I’m not sure I see 4 more wins. Just looking at the remaining schedules I see 3 more wins. Then maybe they beat one of the NFC East teams to get them to 6 wins.

Going to be a big game against Washington on Monday.

Both teams have 3 losses.

We lost to Rice Dowdle SMH

183 rushing yards, 6.1 YPC and 4 catches for 56 yards, 1 TD

And my new favorite player? Javonte Williams? complete no show. WTF happened to him? 13 carries for just 29 yards. 2.2 YPC.

Was he injured or something? This was not the same Javonte Williams we've been watching this season.

The difference in running was the entire game.

Yep… And that needs to be fixed quickly.

Good thing right now - this league is full of “Mid” teams trying to figure out what they are. Cowboys figure a few things out and get healthy and they can be one of them. But it needs to start this weekend.

Just like Cincy beating division leader Steelers changed the outlook of the Bengals' season.

A win by the Cowboys against the Commanders will be huge.

Pretty decisive win. Offense is offensing. Defense needs to defense more though.

Hard to get too excited though TBH because thier whole WR core was out and defending WRs is our one super weakness. But man, we have maybe the best WR duo in the leauge. Pickens is a #1, that guy is WAY better than I realized when we signed him. It's like one amazing catch after another with him.

Javonte Williams back to being that guy, not sure where he went vs the Panthers.

The Dallas offense is elite.

There could be something here, guys.

I just hope Jerry makes a move to improve the defense right now.
It would be such a waste just to throw away Dak's MVP season.

We don't need a great defense, just good enough.

Broncos really exposed the Dallas defense.

If the Cowboys are to make the playoffs, like what Jerry said, they have to win the next 2 games.

The door is closing.

Pretty sure the Cowboys defense was already showing their ass before this game even started.

The defense is beyond the repair of just one player. IMO it would still be a horrid defense with Parsons on the roster. And it was last season.

Hard to care about any potential trades TBH. Feel like it needs to be mended by hitting on the those draft picks and signling MULTIPLE free agents. They don't have to be high profile FAs, but several that are just proven to be "good" players.

Yep… makes far more sense to admit what this team is (at best mediocre), identify areas demanding improvement (particularly on defense), identify who needs to be kept and what the price is... and address those items. That’s not happening on the fly this season.

Not to mention I would hate for them to trade the picks for players only to fire Eberflus in the off season and bring in a new DC with a new scheme that doesn’t fit the players they traded for.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
