As much as I hate losing to Miami I expect some tough losses until we find out how and where everyone fits.

On to the next one.

We are missing one guy, a guy who misses at least 50% of the games every year anyway.

McBride needing a personal day hurt the most.

Just holding him accountable, which Thibs was too scared to do with any of the rotational players.

KAT pissed off most of the players last year with his lack of defense and adjustments.
No doubt KAT didn't listen to Thibs.
Now he's tuning out Brown.

Hopefully this is greasing the skids for exit out of NYC for Giannis.

It's fine they moved on from Randle, because he tried to create more than he should have.
And in theory, I liked that they went for KAT because they can play 5 out with him at the 5.
Which would work if KAT was a really good 3 point shooter, but is really any better than any other C who shoots good from 3? Is he special? Not really.

Also, they probably figured KAT can playmake some from the 5, give a little of Randle and some of iHart.

Except there's only been like 1 play this year with KAT doing some passing from the high post.
Mostly it's KAT doing P&Rs with Brunson, a zillion trailing 3s, and several of KATs drive to the baskets awkwardly, score half the time, offensive foul half the time, always complain to the refs, drives.

I will agree that he might’ve tried to create too much at times but this team needs another perimeter facilitator and not one like an Isaiah Hartenstein (tho that would obviously help).

Towns and Mikal do not draw multiple defenders like Randle can. This team needs a player like that.

As long as it's not Randle, that would be nice.

For 5 1st round picks would be cool if Bridges created a little gravity.

At least he can get his own shot off.

At this point, you kind of have to question the FO having $130 million invested in 3 players not one of which is elite at dribble drive, 3 level scoring etc.

Kind of how you build teams that can't win it all. Too many $ tied up in non top 10 talent.

Who posted that Yabu probably won't gain more weight?

Look at the guy. He'll probably weigh more than Oliver Miller by Christmas.

the east terrible. the knicks will fall into a top 2 spot.

but this way we're playing isn't any good. and it won't last. you'll see more jalen isos as the year goes on and you'll see the rotation whittled down. it won't be the same as thibs but it'll be halfway there.

mike brown will ultimately be judged in the playoffs. thibs screwed up that game 1 vs indy and that probably was the catalyst that got him fired. which was fair to me. we'll see how mike does.

It's the 3rd game of the season, and their first road game. It's so early that the Rockets are 0-2 and the Bulls are 2-0. Were we supposed to be a well oiled machine after 3 games? This was always going to have growing pains associated with it. We were 1-2 last year and 1-4 the year before that.

The shots will normalize and our offense will improve, if we're going to be a top 2 seed what is the panic over? The overreactions are comical considering what was allowed before this, and how people barely post when we win.

I personally enjoy posting more when we lose.

The North remembers that half the fan base (and more than half this board) didn’t like Donte to start the season and thought he was redundant, now 97% of yall be begging for him back.

The North remembers when IHart was once deemed “IShart”, but his impact became invaluable.

I suspect Yabu will have the same experience this time around.

Yeah, but you're also hating when we win too. It's just hate across the board from start to finish, it's more balanced.

Thank god Yabu showed up grossly overweight. I was afraid we wouldn't have an irrational punching bag this year.

Buzz triggering the board after 3 games. You love to see it!

The Randle talk has a thread specifically designed for that purpose as well as nature hikes and mushrooms. Beat it!

Giannis would provide more playmaking in the starting lineup than anyone not named Brunson. Maybe more than Brunson.

He's provide what Hart does, but only at like 7 or 8 inches taller. Plus actual scoring ability.
And since Hart hasn't been able to shoot 3's for a couple of years, that's a wash there.

Giannis will bend the defense in more ways than KAT, and Knicks can start Deuce and go 4 out around Giannis and have 4 plus defenders on the floor.

Good for them. Irrelevant.

We are trying to set roles and rotations as we build chemistry with a new system on both ends and a new HC. Having a key player like Deuce out and not having Mitch working on his own role does not help us in those areas.

3 games in. Two nice wins to start the season. What are we expecting here?

just finished. man that was rough. basically everybody and everything beside Brunson and Mikal sucked.
Towns was off from the start. Hart is basically unplayable on offense right now and oh boy Yabusele...
Even Brown was really bad. that Koley/Shamet/Yabu/Hart + Mikal/OG lineup at the end of the 3rd completely killed us.

(And I can't even say how much I hate watching Jordan Clarkson play basketball)

If its irrelevant why you cryin so hard about being shorthanded, and so adamant about it you had to even make a "gotchya post" about it? Hypocrite.

"We were shorthanded!!"

So were they

"Irrelevant"

WTF?
