Lebron....

Curry took a washed up Klay and Draymond to the Finals and won a chip. All this recent Giannis glazing getting out of contol.

I doubt Curry would have won a ring with 2020-21 Bucks (without Giannis).

Nope.

Damn shame.

Lakers will never replace Kobe.

Funny how Giannis winning 1 ship is such a big deal but we just ignore all the other years his teams didn't accomplish anything in the playoffs. He was healthy last year and lost in the first round. When's the last time Giannis was even in the conference finals?

Luka already injured and thus is currently 5th in mvp with Giannis, SGA and wemby currently in top 3 spots and Jokic 4th because the best ability is availability

Embiid is the only MVP this century to miss more than 10 games. Luka will already be at 4 after this week, meaning he can only miss 6 more the rest of the year. I dont like his chances.

Easy to get 50 point games when your team goes to the line 46 times a game.

Reaves - 22 freethrows (missed 1) = 51pts
Luka - 19 freethrows (missed 3) = 49pts

But Reaves aura alone grants his teammates additional freethrows :o

MVP Power Rankings (so far)
1. Wemby
2. Shai
3. Reaves (and climbing!)

Don't have the time to address all the comments in this thread, but Russ won MVP with a 6 seed Thunder team that won 47 wins. The whole Luka cant win MVP because of the Lakers record is a fallacy. We were a 50 win team last season with an out of shape Luka, injuries, and roster turnover. Not saying the roster construction is anywhere near perfect this season, but we're in a good position to match last seasons win total at the very least. I don't think Lebron is going to be as big of a hinderance as many of you are making him out to be. We saw late last season that Lebron was willing to take a back seat and let Luka cook.

Wemby is the clear frontrunner right now, but the Spurs will hit a wall and regress at some point this season. They're still a year or two away from being a threat imo, but who knows maybe I'm wrong and they're on the same trajectory as the Thunder. SGA and Jokic will inevitably run into some voter fatigue, also don't think either of those guys will have to do as much heavy lifting as Luka.
