This is one of those games where I wish the Raps had someone who could go back and forth with a talent like Wemby.

Barnes is going to get into foul trouble if guarding Wemby. This is where having another big C would come in handy instead of endless guards.

Mogbo might he best option defensively....but when we are on offense, Mogbo is a black hole and isn't drawing Wemby away from the basket.

At some point, we need IQ to catch fire to help open up the inside.

Quickley is taking 5.6 Open + Wide Open 3s per game and has hit 7.7% of them. Last two years combined he's shot 42% on those same shots. Once those start falling i think our offense will start opening up a lot more.

I'd have CMB guard Wemby on the perimeter. Try to stiffle his dribble, and have Scottie help on the weakside, if Wemby tries to back down.

A lineup I'd want to see.

Walter, Ingram, Scottie, CMB, Mamu.

On offence, have CMB be a hub.

The Spurs are on the second night of a B2B, but I still think they probably win tonight

The Raptors don't really have any answers for Wemby

We need Lamond Murray going off against the Spurs again to ever have a chance to win

https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore/_/gameId/241121028

Elite defence + Elite Lamond Murray Offence = only 9 4th Q pts for Dynasty Duncan, Ginobili and Parker Spurs

Quickley is averaging 15/7/5

He's currently averaging 0.6 makes per 6 threes attempted per game.

If he just made 2/6 (33%) - he'd be averaging 20+ ppg.

20p/7a/5r/2spg is solid.

Easy fix: Reduce touches for IQ. Have him run around, come off screens, try to get open for catch & shoot 3s.

Simply put, less dribble dribble, more swing swing.

Sandro has been better defensively and that says a lot about Poeltl.

Poeltl is clearly hurt, wouldn't read too much into his poor start

I know TWO will take any chance they get to bash on Yak, however he has had a bad back this month and also a broken nose, and a and missed most of training camp. He's probably playing because they have absolutely no chance without him. He probably should be resting.

He is not cooked, he just turned 30.

I'm calling 4 on Ingram alone. He probably finishes with 10+
