Thanks for bringing 2019 vibes
Del, do you have a prediction for the winner of the world series?

Trying to bait me into a post that will be embarrassing? You have to try harder than that.

Screw the Dodgers for bringing out that hack of a singer to sing our national anthem. That was one of the worst anthem performances I've ever heard.

I can’t believe I stayed up all night (European time) to watch the Jays coach pull out all our good hitters, and watch vladdy have another no show. He couldn’t hit anything even against their worst pitcher. The game felt like an eternityyy

My Iberian brother in Christ. I dropped the game at 5 AM.

Let us commiserate.

That was an insane game, and who knows how it will shape the rest of the series.

It seemed like the Dodgers were the better team, but the Jays probably should have won.

Cannot believe they pitched to Ohtani in the 7th AND it was a middle fastball. Terrible writing.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Every single one of Schneider's moves flopped.

He made pitching decisions based on Otahni, and then ended up just walking him the rest of the game and then ran out of pitchers and had to rely on Little.

He made hitting decisions based on speed, and then those guys didn't get on base the rest of the game because they can't hit and in some cases made base running mistakes.

The only reason this game went so long was because a guy he never trusted pitched his heart out. The game extended in spite of Schneider's decisions.

Only 2 moves I'm mad at. Not walking Ohtani when up 5-4. WTF. Also, should not have pinch run for Barger at 1B with the game tied. In a close game, you need some power hitters in extra innings. Barger was like 2 for 3 with a walk too.

It was death by a thousand managerial hunches. If just one works we would have won the game, but none of them did.

I'm hoping he's tired. I'd be very surprised if he goes the distance tonight. Really hoping Bieber can put together a solid outing.

I feel like Schneider over complicates his job and then loses to his own ideas

I remember seeing Kawhi in Padres gear so I wonder if he's quietly cheering for us. Maybe not but it'd be cool. Kyle, Fvv, Pascal, OG and all them = 100%. VC and T-Mac more likely than not imo. DD's the big unknown. Kendrick ties/Compton proud and all that, but he still loyal af and got a soft spot for the North (Amir too). Whereas I don't even need to see it to know Bosh painted his entire house Dodger blue smh smdh the little bandwagon jumper piece of... lol. Let's go Blue Jays
