Siakam averaging 26/10/6 through 3 games. At this point we should have just paid him, he would carry these bums to the play in.

Honestly Siakam is still better than Ingram and he would have probably stayed at a slight discount lol

No one can guard

BI got back-to-back possessions by Castle and old man Harrison Barnes on simple drive bys.

Can't name one positive defender. Everything looks horrible

If Poeltl isn't healthy - which it seems like he's not - he shouldn't be playing.

If you're saying "if you don't play defense then you won't get minutes" then stand on business.

Like even Scottie's been bad on defense tonight and i'm not giving him the "back to back exhaustion" pass when it's this early in the game.

There's definitely personnel issues to be had but right now our coaching staff has been doing a terrible job with the cards they've been dealt, so to speak

There is nothing positive to take away right now.

We have no rim protection and we scramble around on defense. Any guard who can shoot/drive is going to cook us atm. All someone has to do is either be able to attack a close out and do a layup, or shoot a wide open 3.

Masai replacing him with Ingram was when I knew our goat was a washed GM sadly

Dude, we can’t trade Barrett, we tried including him in the Ingram trade and New Orleans didn’t want him. We tried to get rid of him at the deadline and couldn’t, tried to trade him in the offseason and couldn’t. Do you think his value is increasing when the whole league sees how bad this team is on defence with our other poor defenders next to him?

Again, if RJ sucks so much and Ochai can't play in front of him, what does that say about him?

You don’t seem to understand that a player making nearly $30M/year isn’t going to be used as a bench player. The NBA doesn’t work that way. The point is that all this money to underperforming players costs us the ability to keep other talent. It’s not difficult to understand.

No, I think a player that is actually "good" is going to play in front of someone that is supposedly untradeable.

You see guys like Bradley Beal making 50m and getting benched, so it's nonsense to suggest RJ couldn't be benched if Ochai was actually good enough to replace him.

I was against the trade, but we can all agree BI delivers on what we wanted from him. Everybody else is the problem.

Pascal had OG, Scottie and Yak and he couldn't do it..6wins and 12 losses....But theres a common denominator though

They had alot of luck as well.....there's plenty of teams that tanked "properly" but didn't have that luck.

Their front office has done a damn good job and every great franchise in history gets luck. Castle at 4 was an amazing pick, Carter Bryant at 13 might be the sleeper of the draft. Savvy signings like getting one of the best defensive bigs in Kornet for very cheap, while giving up peanuts for Fox.

They also still have a pick swap with Atlanta coming up.

for sure they deserve credit....great organization, sprinkle some luck on top of that and you get envy from every other fanbase.

but if Detroit got that Wemby luck they'd be the talk of the NBA
