They are going to score 140 in regulation. Last year teams struggled to get to 100 against us

Maybe I wasn’t paying enough attention but I feel like Paolo quietly scored his 32 points tonight. Didn’t feel like he forced things for stretches and it came in the flow of the game. 11ftas and I can barely remember any of the plays.

Because we do not attempt or make enough 3s.

That wasn't really the problem tonight at all though.

You score 124 with a 63.4% TS%, you should win every single night. It was a catastrophic defensive failure.

Fire Weltman. Have his replacement fire Mosley and find a new coach.

Depressing.

This team has got to play better defense and make more free throws.

Hopefully, thy can get it together on the remainder of this trip.

Philly was simply on fire tonight.

Too much trash on this roster getting paid too much to do jack squat.

Weltman needs a list of every single NBA player sorted by 3 point %, start at the top and start making calls until someone says yes.

Mark it down, Mose will be the first coach fired this season.

They're not doing anything for 20 games at least, nor should they.

I remember how he was owned on defense for most of the game

He was good offensively. Only 2-3 shots I didn’t like. The rest were either open (including the air ball) or aggressive takes to the basket

I think the team learned to fight a little more in the second half. Hopefully, they can bring that into the next game.

Serious question for those with the wherewithal to check these things. How many instances in NBA history does a team lose by double digits under those parameters?

+5.4% FG shooting, 38 FTAs, lose by 12+ points.

Not even joking, it feels like it would be impossible to lose with that kind of advantage. Surely it has not happened very many times.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

This is depressing. It is just a continuation of last season without the elite defense.

Sixers are a fun team to watch this year.
That might change after Joel returns though.

TDS' lack of energy is disgusting. Too cool for school
I really think it's a strength thing. He really needs to get stronger if he wants to compete.
That has nothing to do with energy and hustle. He is just jogging to position getting back on defense, standing around and looking instead of hustling to box out or to get in the right position. Too many mistakes all because of lack of hustle and in my book that is my biggest pet peeve.

I agree... but I'm getting ready. I'm over it but I understand how this all works and that this franchise is doing nothing in haste. That said, this fraud would be my second firing if I was the new PBO:

Beginning of the game I said point of attack defense would be key....

Half time I said maybe you want to trap Maxey and make someone else beat you cause Maxey can beat you.....

Zero adjustments made Maxey beat us thoroughly

TBH this is the best the offense has looked. The defense on the other hand. Gotta work on that.

They need to play fast... but not compromise that defense.

It feels like they're gunning to outscore teams rather than still relying on the defense. They need to change back to that.
