The only thing they can really do is fire Mosely, and that’s not coming anytime soon. Very sad state of affairs.

Serious question for those with the wherewithal to check these things. How many instances in NBA history does a team lose by double digits under those parameters?

+5.4% FG shooting, 38 FTAs, lose by 12+ points.

Not even joking, it feels like it would be impossible to lose with that kind of advantage. Surely it has not happened very many times.

The other team made 6 more 3 pointers and everything else was pretty much the same. They made the same amount of free throws and 3 more shots made. So yeah, it make sense that we loss even with these numbers.

I saw the potential in the second half. They definitely need time to gel. They just dug themselves a hole they couldn't get out of. Missed free throws, turnovers, and a lack of defense killed them. Doesn't help that Philly was just on fire. I really do things will get better going forward.

So we really dont have a pick this year? Man this is depressing.

What does a new FO even do?? We have little to no assets.

It happened last year in the second half of the season, very similar loss, forgot the opponent. I’ll call this the Mosely special.

Because we do not attempt or make enough 3s.

That wasn't really the problem tonight at all though.

You score 124 with a 63.4% TS%, you should win every single night. It was a catastrophic defensive failure.

Yeah but the other team was about the same percentage offensive. It’s the 3 points that really did us in and yes, the defense.

I did like the fight they had in the second half. And their body language and effort was better tonight. Philly just shot ridiculously well. That seems to keep happening to us. I feel that this is all mental

Mind you, Philly have 2 max contracts weighing them down and a sharpshooting guard who is injured right now.

I saw a lot of the same stagnent crap. Sure, our top 3 played better. But it was pretty much the same style that teams lock us up with. ISO heavy, top of the key pick and rolls.

We did get Franz and Paolo in the post a few times, then left it ofcourse.

Is JI on the injury list? Why didn’t he play?

This type of stuff was apparent in the preseason if you watched the games. But some of you wanted to harp on the fact that they scored 120 plus a game & went 4-0 and turn blinders to the fact the when our core played they didn't look that great either.

This is gonna snowball out of control i think but the issue is what does it really solve firing mosley? Make prunty the interim and nothing really changes? They need a whole new staff, they need a whole new ownership (we know that won't happen). I'm not even watching games only 4 games into the season. Never in my life have I done that before. Sucks so much to be a magic fan right now.

At this point, it's the only card we can play. The buck stops there. The probably wont do it till mid season, but with this start who knows.

Gotta trade AB and Carter for something. Move Isaac too if he cant even get minutes on this team.

I wouldn't mind trading WCJ/JI/Goga for a real rim defender with a respectable 3. We have a hard time keeping guys infront but we can funnel them to the paint.

Once they break down their defender, its a free score in the lane right now.

He’s been trending toward unplayable for the past few years. Waste of cap space.
