FWIW, we looked a lot better against PHI than ORL is looking right now.

I was wrong on VJ
It's time we start discussing if he will be the best player in this draft and yes better than Flagg. Kid looks so calm out there for a rookie.

Kids definitely impressive. Good grief.

It used to be a pretty exciting accomplishment when someone scored 50 points. Now it happens every night.

I'll be honest, missing out on VJ by one pick hurts more to me than missing Anthony Davis, Wemby, or Cooper. VJ isn't on the same level as a prospect as those guys, but I felt more so than I ever have about a draft pick that he was just destined to be a Hornet.

Mark had a good game last night 25 pts, 11 boards in 31 mins.

Well sorta. They lost to the lol Jazz and he gave up 25/11 to Kessler and 7/13 to nurkic.
Mark can put up numbers when he plays he just gives up worse numbers to his opponents most of time. He is like eating jello it seems like a good idea but always leaves you wanting more.

We can't pick and choose when this narrative matters. Because our centers have been outperformed every game yet everyone is talking about how well they have played.

What?
I am not involved in some previous go round with you about our center rotation.
This is the "around the NBA thread" and you mentioned Mark having a good game. He did his usual thing (on the occasions that he plays) of putting up good offensive numbers while conceding even more point's and rebounds to the guys he was "guarding". He also had zero assists or blocks. Kessler and Nurkic had 6 and 4 of those. Lauri scored 51 too. They lost.
For the record, I think we could definitely improve our center rotation via trade, FA or a rookie. The guys we have definitely seem to work harder and have a bigger defensive impact than Mark does post injury. I think he is not an overall good asset considering his defensive performance, lack of availability, future price and inconsistent effort.
Don't hate him either, he just doesn't actually impact the game positively enough to be worth the negatives.

Re: Around the NBA 13
Wiseman was waived by the Pacers because they have so many injuries to their guard rotation.
He might be worth a look as another athletic lob threat for LaMelo.

Calm down or we're gonna get fats going on another Charlie Day style conspiracy diatribe about the FBI, social media, and ska bands

Re: Around the NBA 13
btw those who like to keep track of Hornet draft foibles Josh Minott started for the Celtics Monday delivered 15 pts 9 rebs. The 6'8 forward nicknamed the Lawn Mower for his nonstop energy was the 45th pick by CHA but traded with a future 2nd to MIN for pick 40 used to take Bryce McDaniels who ironically faced Minott's C's on Monday with the New Orleans Pelicans. McGowans was 0-2 in 3 mins in the 30 pt loss to Minott's Celtics.
