Not if your goal is to win this year. His contract isn't bad if he plays like this.

It also won't infringe on our ability to sign/resign anyone.

Sell high imo, id definitely get out of that contract if we can without thinking. Hes put up good stats his first couple of years here but those stats seldom seem to translate to winning so if we can offload him fine by me

Of course the first shot Sharpe attempted tonight was a 3 point shot... clank.

Get out for what though? Damian Lillard is coming back next year and if we want to try and make a run with him, we'd be better off with Grant than some future 1st and an expiring which will probably be a POS player.

Sharpe is reminding me of Qyntel Woods.

Love seeing Deni really answer the call of the best player.

Sharpe desperately needs a breakout game to get out of his funk. Almost think they need to run a game where they just feed him to get him going one night.

Also, it’s still weird to see Dame on the box score every night, even on the IR.

DC 10 & 10 in 15min

Deni strips Dominayton, and then scores a 3pt over him on the other end, ouch

LAL getting very sloppy with the ball and POR taking advantage up by 15

I will say the defense is nice, however, POR is skating a very fine line between great defense and fouling

Nice score by Knecht there, good for him

Reaves with the and 1. I think he’s gonna have to score more than 40 tonight if LAL hopes to win.

and apparently POR wants to help LAL get back into the game by putting Love in, like why?

Nice back to back possessions by Knecht for 4pts, took a hard fall on the first basket

OK Wesley, nice handle and dish

LAL really wants POR to score on this possession, just purely inept, POR obliges

POR shooting 31% from 3pt and up by 11, that is how bad LAL is without 7 players, including LeBron and Dončić

Sharpe 0-6 3pt

Deni 5-5 from 3.

The rest of the team, 6-30. (and Holiday/Grant are 5/12)

I’m genuinely shocked how bad Sharpe has been to start this season after how good he was in preseason. Like night and day.

The team absolutely needs him to get going.

Why can't Kris shoot like his brother? They're identical twins, they have the same body.

He's been dog ****. Everything looks awkward for him, like he spent the summer playing video games...

What kind of run exactly? A first round loss? Is that tremendous progress?

This underlying narrative that Lillard, at age 36 & coming off an Achilles injury is going to save POR and turn them into a contender next year is fiction. He couldn’t elevate MIL when he was playing with Giannis (who is worth 2-3 of POR players), a top 20 player of all time?

And I agree, Grant is not a winner

I'm a lot more comfortable when Clingan is in the game. He's only played 24 minutes tonight, so why can't he finish?

That’s what makes it weird, preseason he looked like he was in the gym practicing all summer. He looked as fluid as I’ve seen him.

This team has enough talent to get out of the 1st. Especially with Dame being exactly the kind of player this team needs. He'd address our weakness perfectly.

I'd rather see how far we can get with Dame's last horrah than get another Kris Murray.

That possession was kept alive by DC, led to a 3 by Holiday

Again, DC with a rebound and score, then blocks Reaves on the other end

I’ll say it, he is the best draft pick in the last 4 drafts that POR has had & I don’t think it’s that close.

Sharpe coming in late, mid range game

Reaves has 41 and it’s probably not gonna be enough
