Sixers were trash last season then this season they're looking good.
Thanks to Edgecombe, I guess.

I'm seeing a new trend.

The past few seasons the trend was having great wing players because teams saw that the Jays were so successful.

Now it's looking like having 2 great guards is the way to go.

OKC with SGA and J-Dub just won a championship.

Now it's looking like Maxey and VJ will be wrecking havoc around the league.

They're constantly attacking the basket then kicking it out to open shooters if they can't finish at the rim.

There's still a lot of games left to be played, but I think Joe needs to make an adjustment with the roster.
Sam and PP starting makes the Cs too soft and predictable.
Every team in the NBA knows that PP and Sam are just 3pt shooters.
That's really going to make the Celtic offense stagnant because the defense will just be focusing on the shooters and guys like PP and Sam have no explosiveness to drive to the basket.

This 2025 draft is looking bad ass right now

Was going to post the same. Howard finished an amazing 6 for 6 from the three point line on top of that.

It may be two games in and that's not much, but Brad definitely **** up. Not drafting Kalk at 34..

Tonight Kalk finished 7 for 7 which makes him 12 for 13 after 2 games..Tillman and Gaza won't do that a single game for us all year. His last preseason game. He also finished 7 out of 7 which proves he is not a fluke.

Instead we have so many wings. We can't even get Minott or Hugo in every game. And that's tmwith the playing of 11 players.. :-?

Kalk is also averaging about 12 rebounds per 40 minutes..

That ship has sailed, on Kalkbrenner.
Let's focus on who is here, now?

Well this is an "around the NBA" thread. And I discuss many players outside of our team here. So on that note, Sion James, has also had a nice promising start for Charlotte. If the doubts on him were shooting, he has answered well so far this season.

The Memphis Grizzlies are planning to sign center Charles Bassey to a 10-Day hardship contract.

Jrue Holiday has slayed The Lakers on their home court tonight.

#OnceACelticAlwaysACeltic

I miss him terribly.
If it was up to me, I would have kept him, but understand the owner's reason (I blame Silver and the unfair CBA/luxury/apron strings taxes)

Yes, it was the tax and apron thing that prevented the Cs from keeping Jrue.

I think if under the old CBA, the Cs would have kept Jrue.

LAKER is clearly just a step upgrade on the way from RAPTOR to CELTIC.

Surprised at lamelo ball’s strong start. Idk if he’s doing this with great defense being played against him.

Even last season LaMelo was torching defenses.

Problem is he's also horrible on defense.

But I don't mind because he's giving me lots of fantasy points.

.405 fg percentage though. I always saw him as a poor shooter. He’s shooting .483 from the field early.

I think Melo and Hali are similar players.

Hali is just smarter, takes less bad shots.

I've seen enough of Melo to conclude he's an elite offensive player.
But definitely bad on defense.

Me Carmelo Anthony. Such a liability on defense which is a huge problem.

Time will tell.

I think Hornets fans would be ecstatic if they make the playoffs.

Melo is fun to watch.

And if they're winning, that's good enough if you're a Hornets fan.
