obvious lack of energy without JDub/Caruso/Cason. Really hope JDub can come back ASAP because we are a different team with his defensive/offensive versatiliy. It would be nice to clinch HCA before the last games of the season so we can rest our guys.

Ajay playing as well as he did during the offseason and showing he's legit...on top of that we signed him on a super cheap contract, no clue how Presti did it.

The first team in NBA history to go 82-0 with all games being double overtime. Going to be a long season. It also gives SGA enough extra minutes to guarantee his stats get him back-to-back MVP.

Last night's game was a nice effort to come back and win. Not thrilled overall with some of our intensity on the defensive side of the ball. Not thrilled with how we're shooting the ball

...but what matters is that we don't give up fighting and still try to use our grit to clutch games out, no matter the result. I think OKC turned it on in the 4Q and Kings just don't have the personnel.

Also was fun to see Russ, Schroder, and Sabonis all play against us and we won :D McDermott and Saric DNP as well...
Cheers

Or it is good fortune that it was caught and will hopefully lead to a complete recovery.

Yes really sucks for him, crazy with how young he is for something like this to happen. I am glad we are a deep team with him and sober and jdub out.

no clue how long before he plays...might take almost a month

Glad Ajay is stepping up big time. His agent should get fired for making that 3 years/9 millions deal but good for us.

Dieng isn't even playing with half our roster injured. I have no clue why Presti decided to keep him.

Need more Chip Engelland in the gym for our guys to improve our outside shooting. We have an amazing team but gotta make those shots.

You are overreacting to a small sample size. He replaced two league minimum years and one FA year with a guaranteed $9M. So he only loses money if you project him to have gotten more than $7M in FA in two years. Even then he is good enough to get a decent offer at that point he might not have, due to the RFA limitations and OKC might have been expected to match a $12-15M/yr offer. Instead he hits FA in a few years and can get whatever the actual market value is without worrying about matching.

I like Ajay, but I'm not going to overreact to the small sample size. Can we trade Dort already and put Ajay in the starting lineup? Dort did the two years of fluke 3pt shooting, like we saw from Thabo, and he's returning to reality. Can we trade him before we have to leave him rotting on the bench in the playoffs because they refuse to guard him and he can't make a 3 or a layup?

He was good last season before he got injured, he was great in the offseason and so far he played very well this season. That's a bit more than a " small sample size". I'm not gonna act like he has a crazy high ceiling but he's legit.

It's a half season of data. 42 regular season games. Small sample size. He is showing he can be a solid usage contributor, which is needed since half the team is eating ice cream in the hospital. I like him. So again I'll ask, can we get rid of Dort and plug Ajay in as the starter?

Small sample size . Probably with the amount of injuries we have .. we might need keep Dort. Not sure if he’s worth extending or not if his 3 point shooting regress this badly.
