Thibs ran him into ground. He's the Knicks' Deng.
I don't think he ran his shot into the ground. What happened to the Hart shooting in that video?

I'd figure legs and every other body parts have some effect on shooting. Thibs turned Hart into an NBA 39 year old.

I just dont understand how stuff like this happens. It must be mental.
I mean, right now its his crooked finger thats hanging sideways on his shooting hand. that much is pretty obvious. But he had years where he shot very respectable percentage from three 37,38 almost 40 in his rookie year. Josh Hart all of a sudden apparently forgot how to shoot. last year shot 31% and no one defends him anymore on the perimeter. now hes in his head everytime he catches the ball. and it looks really awful.
its frustrating.

Hart is a career 34.1% 3 point shooter. He has shot 39.6, 33.6, 34.2, 32.6, 34.3, 37.2, 31.0 and 33.3% last year. The rookie year just seems to be an outlier. His second best season of 37.2% came with him shooting 51.9% on low volume for the Knicks for 25 games after being traded.
His percentage of attempts that are 3's is lower than earlier in his career but i'm not sure if we should want a 33-34% shooter taking more 3's anyway. I have been critical of Hart not shooting when he is open but he hasn't even shot good percentages while being left unguarded.

i mean, i didnt say hes a lightsout sniper. he was an average shooter. as far as i know when you shoot around 35% thats average. And its not super out of the ordinary to fluctuate up and down a couple % points.
My point was about how hes in his head and can do at least average from three. It would demand some defense and needs to be fixed because he is evidently capable of doing way better
