It's all prerecorded. He gets to rehearse his answers by giving him the questions well ahead of time.

If it were live, answering spontaneous questions, it'd be entertaining.

I don't think it screwed the cap as much as people assume. It was extreme negative value and if you are trying to win you can't really give up value to get more room. Stretching not only allows them to get turner but get under the threshold as well opening up more options. Sure they may be screwed in years 3+ but there is a decent chance that either Giannis will be gone by then, we are no longer competitive or the cap rises significantly. Our window is now so who cares about 2027-28+?

A new thing with NBC. They think prime time is 8pm so they are giving 1 prime time game to each coast. They want to maximize the total number of unique viewers in total, even if they take a hit for the second game.
