We have an answer, we had an answer in the 2nd quarter. We have a Mitch. Towns is hurting...heck half the team is hurting the other half are learning the system.

Brunson was great and saved us again from getting blown out.

The new offense was supposed to cut down on their reliance on him and give KAT more threes but neither has happened so far. KAT has been bad at the 4 and 5

Is there ANY word on Mitch? It’s like he’s the only dood who can help KAT

I think Deuce grandmother passed.

We need to stop thinking about Mitch. If he gives us 20 games and a strong showing in the playoffs, I’ll be happy. Should be load managed for the remainder of his time here

I want Mitch healthy for the postseason but it puts more strain on other guys. I said before that I don't know how bad KAT is hurt at the moment but we really don't have any other bigs to carry the load for him to rest. We need Mitch in the regular season too. We can't just have 1 player that has the luxury of resting all year.

Absolutely loved what I saw in the 2nd quarter. That's it. That's all I got.

He needs to be traded.

This approach to Mitch like we need to keep him healthy because he’s the second coming of Mutombo is insane.

He’s a good interior defensive player and shot blocker but he is never healthy for any period of time to make a real impact. I’m not sure why everyone here thinks he’s the only big man defensive presence in the entire NBA.

The Bulls are unbeaten.

The Wizards are playing pretty balanced games.

It's not Kat's injuries, he doesn't make winning plays. He's starting to remind me of late career Amar'e when he no longer had an athletic advantage but still tried to plow his way to the rim, complete tunnel vision.

Why is OG seemingly above slander? Dude often brings nothing on offense and his defense has been nothing spectacular more often than not.

Gets 3/4 what Kat gets but 1/100th of the criticism. His contract is a huge reason we're up against the 2nd apron.

It's game 4 of the season and I don't know what is going on with KAT but taking that shot with 5 seconds on the shot clock looked crazy :D

Nothing we can do about it now. Nobody will want Mitch in a trade. We should see what Diawara can give us.

I hate to say it but as a team - assuming everyone else is healthy, he probably shouldn't get any minutes. He can only fit in a full spacing bench lineup which we don't even have the personnel for - unless Yabs plays the 5 (and can actually shoot).

it's a flawed roster with Brunson being the only plus advantage creator. People dogging Kat and he obviously played poor, but in that 1st half they essentially face guarded him which opened up tons of space for brunson and others to operate.

I also love taking credit for my coworkers productivity than blame someone who is paid way less than me when all goes to sht.

Kat couldn't run the offensive in the 3rd when Brunson sat. It was comically bad. If he cant do that this season we are fcked. We have to have a 2nd ballhandler scorer and its clear he isn't that. He is a nice offensive big who can space the floor and is an elite rebounder. While also being a terrible defender and one of the worst screening bigs I've ever watched. And his bbq iq is highly questionable. Just a frustrating player to have to root for

What offense? They tried posting him up a few times. Other than that I have no idea what offense they were "running". Last year Kat and Payne had great on/off numbers as they would run and gun and Kat got trail 3s etc. the offense never "ran through" Kat - he's not that type of player.

I had higher hopes for Mitch because he ended last season healthy then got leaner and fitter over the summer. This is a real disappointment
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

It was either chuck the 3 like he did, attempt to drive and probably turn it over, or pass to someone else to take a grenade shot. If anything this highlights what often happened when brunson sat, which was disjointed, garbage offense.

Gonna sound like a broken record all season, every possession where we actively moved the ball & moved off ball we had immense success.

The possessions where we just passed the ball and took a shot or passed the ball but nobody moved around, we struggled.

That will be the key to us succeeding in the playoffs. Well that and us figuring out who else can be a driving scoring threat.

Hart absolutely destroyed spacing. They killed anything we tried to run because the bucks wisely left Hart to help. Dude needs to get surgery and fix his shot before returning. He’s killing us out there.

We're at 110 PPG. Only Detroit, NO and Dallas is worse.
