2025 Blue Jays were barely expected to make the playoffs given how 2024 went (end up winning the division) and two of their 3 playoff starters are a pitcher who started the year in A-ball and one coming-off tommy john.
Winning NBA Finals for that 2018/2019 Raptors team going into the playoffs is like 1 standard deviation event. Winning the World Series for 2025 Blue Jays team going into the playoffs is more 3-4 standard deviation event. It's bonkers
