In a game where basically all their guys played, Clippers leader in assists tonight vs. Golden State...was Yanic Niederhäuser...with 2 assists lol. The corpse of Chris Paul also had 2 assists, literally nobody else had more than 1

Kawhi with a cool -29 in 30 minutes

I loved him coming out, and liked what I saw from him last year quite a bit, but I had no inkling that he'd be this good this fast. He looks like he could be a perennial all-star. This could be an early season overreaction but apart from what he's shooting from 3, what he does on the court seems pretty durable to me. Plus he's exactly what we need on the roster. Man.

How maddening would it be though if they had selected him and then traded him to get off Midds contract and suck the apron? There’s a world where that was possible.

They are built like the old man Bucks, but with a quarter of the heart so when things have gone bad, it's just over. They got blown out and GS didn't even hit 100.

Damn, Melo is getting roasted this week  Amare ('Melo playing iso ball ruined our cohesion', in much kinder terms) and now Phil Jackson ('He goes or I go'). Love to see it.

I love Amare but the only thing that "ruined" that Knicks team's chemistry was his inability to stay healthy. That 2013 Knicks squad was a dark-horse contender only because Melo was awesome that year.

Banchero being super-Maggette isn't shocking, but I think giving him that contract is going to prove to be devastating. Orlando spent all their money and a bunch of assets on Bane and Banchero. Their roster doesn't make a lick of sense.

Think Magic are still in a good spot flexibility wise though. The guy I'd be shopping hard right now is Franz. Like, I think Utah would give them Markannen and some extra assets if you put him on the market right now.

I'm curious what happens with Markannen. He's still got 3 years left and I don't what the Jazz are doing.

Ainge, since going there, is constantly try to not only win the trades but get teams to really overpay for their assets. Unfortunately, it came to a head last year when they kept guys like Collins and Clarkson and got nothing for them this past offseason and they keep turning their draft assets into decent, at best, pieces. Like since 2023, they've had 7 first round picks and I'm not even sure who is actually good.

Harden's over/under was 20.5.

He had 20 at halftime and didn't score a single point in the second half.

Kings starting lineup in 2025 is absolutely hilarious.

For some reason the Clippers thought him being surrounded by even slower and older teammates would work.

I love me some Sengun. Him falling to 16th is one of the more baffling drops in a draft in recent history. I was also shocked that OKC traded him after he fell into their lap.

Houton stole a stud.

They’re great when they’ve got the lead but the second they get behind Banchero starts chucking long twos and ices everyone else out

I feel like Orlando has approached ball handling the way the Packers approached receivers. The Packers don't need a #1 receiver because they have 5 guys that are a number 2 or 3 option. Orlando seems to think we don't need a lead ballhandler if we have 4 starters that can be secondary or tertiary ballhandlers. And like last year their offense stagnates in the 4th quarter

Josh Giddey is just crushing it as the leader of the 4-0 Bulls. 2 off a triple double tonight.

Magic have to be panacing. Bane 4-15 tonight with a -24.
