A role player shouldn't make or break your team. Thats always been this managements flaw since they let Gasol/Ibaka go. Its quite pathetic tbh

I'm sorry you don't like facts.

He's just another dude taking up space this year.

either they trade for a replacement big for yak right away, since I don't think you can depend on him being 100% anytime soon if ever, or they might as well just tank this season

Sure thing

He's fighting for floor space with BI and Scottie. Since he can't space.

21-40 from three and still get blown out....you don't see that often.

It goes hand in hand that we don’t have bigs and the last 4 games, their star player is 4 or 5

We shot the lights out from 3 and are gonna lose by 20.
Like all of that is great but you not gonna do anything in this league playing defense the way we are

This is exactly the type of basketball I despise. Everyone wants to score. Nobody wants to defend. Soft.

I would rather watch a grind if out defensive game & lose by 5.

This is just hard to watch. Not competitive at all.

Strange team
Barnes and CMB hitting threes is awesome
BI loos good
RJ and Quick are Bench players
Defence is horrible
Every miss was tuned into a three on one
No transition no force to stop the dribble
Quick just sucks on D beyond horrible

Yak is definitely important but him being healthy alone absolutely should not be the difference between you being good on defense or the worst in the league

Yep, every time we miss a long 3, we can’t get the rebound or go back in transition. That’s what killed the game

it's not him specfically. it's just having a capable big, period. we''ve literally just spent years seeing that you can't compete without one

This team needs more guys to take up space on the DEFENSIVE end. The lineups we're tossing out there are ridiculous and Bobby Webster not being able to get a 3rd Center that someone of us wanted when Poeltl was hurt is a big cause for it. Its been 5 years with the same weaknesses...

That’s the problem, we can’t defend opponent’s bigs or rebound. Either we are fouling non stop or give up transition when we go on offence.

You still hoping for a raptors come back? Darko ball man, i know its not on all on him but he is running a gimmick instead of playing to his teams strengths

Return to Toronto Raptors
