It's really this part.

The Magic keep on essentially just wasting offensive possessions by giving Suggs and Black too many opportunities to just dribble the ball, but actually do nothing with it while three other better players just stand around.

I don't get it. This team consistently plays guys out of position. Suggs best season was at SG. What do we do? Put him at Point Guard. AB is CLEARLY not a point guard or can be the lead guard of the second unit but they keep laying him there. I just don't understand why we do this.

Replacing a coach mid season is suicide. This has to happen while the season is young and we have chance to change things up early. If this road trip we go 0-4, its time.

That might be too soon, but another 2 or 3 losses on top of that? Yeah

The Heat went 9-9 in the first 18 LeBron games. I remember all the fire Spoelstra rumors. Then they won the next 22 out of 23.

It looks rough but if we were confident we were a 50+ win team before the season we probably still think so now.

But like why is it so difficult for some of these guys to make a simple play? Suggs is the same and I love him, if he ever taps into less is more/just being chaotic in spurts, he would be way more consistent and a threat. Sometimes he'll dribble out of an open shot or just do some extra stuff for no reason.

Him doing that tap dribble for no reason was infuriating, almost turned it over a few times because of it.

Meanwhile, the Pacers are missing half their team and still playing teams really tough despite being winless. Why? Carlisle.

But I feel like people were saying last year we needed Suggs back to be a ball handler since Paolo/Franz made the pace too slow and that we need to play Black at PG since only a few people thought he was a wing.

There is no prime LeBron James on this roster and Mosley isn’t even good enough to wash Spo’s dirty under garments.

Also, we’d be lucky to be 9-9 after 18 games.

This is just me but I would sign Dwight today and make him our starter.

The coaching is a mess clearly but I also think the players mindset is not serious at the moment. In the first quarter Jalen was showboating, trying to do an And 1 mix tape with his fancy dribbling which was weird and completely unnecessary and accomplished absolutely nothing. The whole time I’m thinking “we are on a 3 game losing streak and this guy is doing antics like this”. Feels like the coach has lost these guys. We cant even routinely convert on fast breaks, its infuriating. Its a coaching issue, also we some low IQ and awareness as a team.

Probably, but at some point high expectations have to turn into tangible positive results too.

They can think they're good all they want, but right now they're really bad and there's no obvious underlying signs in their statistical profile that it's going to get turnaround either.

Its year 3, anyone who thinks he isnt a wing/swingman just has not watched him. Suggs still not a natural PG but he is still miles better then AB at that 1. Jalen is on limited minutes, and we have no other realistic PG options since Tyus is azz and Mosley isnt playing Jase. The moment AB comes in, with that Paolo, Franz, and big man lineup.....it goes to hell. THis is one of the main reasons we keep turning it over. Something has to change in these rotations.

This is ridiculous now lol. I'm not even defending Mose for this season because I haven't been a fan of some of these changes but our literal entire calling card the last few years was being an underdog team that despite being one of the youngest teams had a top defense and would compete against anyone.Capped off with an above average showing in the playoffs against a seasoned Cavs team as well as competing decently last year until the injuries became too much to bear.

Half of you guys attribute WAAAAAAY too much to a head coach if you're going to say none of that applied to Mosely the last few years and he's terrible because of this start and then speak glowingly about Carlisle.

Spoelstra wouldn't have even survived criticism here because he's had one season in the last NINE years of over 50 wins, one with 46, the rest 44 and under. He'd be crucified lol. And those rosters while not amazing weren't ass.

Tbh I think the players spent the entire summer sniffing their own farts.

Basically everyone in the NBA media and on NBA social media pretty much predicted from the moment the Bane trade was made that the Magic were going to just be this awesome team that would win 50+ and make a real playoff run and I think they bought into it mentally.

I guess, it's just frustrating so see how loudly a lot of these things fans were calling for have been implemented (a pure PG like Tyus, higher pace, playing AB on ball more), and then everyone throw it at the feet of one person like it isn't a multitude of things going on. I get the optics and reality of how things work out, it's just frustrating lol.
