On to game 6 and we don’t have to beat Yamamoto to win the WS

don't remind us. it could have been a sweep in LA right now and we would be celebrating a championship tonight
Why is everyone talking about this? It’s better this way. Couldn’t be more poetic to win in Toronto.
ofc, just saying what it could have been. ofc its better to end in Toronto with a win. 100%

That Yesavage post-game was actually interesting. Confirmed that he didn’t have the splitter at one point tonight, but found it. I mean, I suppose it’s possible he meant his fastball but I doubt it. Good to know it’s not an on or off thing, he can work his way to it.

I actually love that it's Yamamoto, he made them look bad so you can be certain they will be extra focused and ready for this one. Also it would be fitting to beat the last boss of these playoffs where the Jays beat nothing but the best that the league has to offer.

Gausman pitching a no no would turn that place into 10 747s on takeoff lol

WE have to take advantage, enjoy what we are seeing. Doubt we'll ever see the kind of performance from so many unheralded players..
Waiver wire - Ernie Clement, career minor leaguer Nathan Lukes, also minor leaguer Straw, Not sure if big leaguer Addison Barger, a pitcher who was in High ball 5 months ago, Tyler Heinman hitting like .300 hitter in reg season. A resurgence in Springer, many of ya'll wanted him waived after last season, Schinder who we didn't know if he was big leaguer, or Quad A player, was back and forth...
Like just that, we'll never be repeated again...

I wouldn’t bet on it, Yamamoto is one of the greatest of all time and kryptonite for our lineup
But maybe we’ll get lucky

Jays winning in Six games in the 6ix against Yamamoto would be epic. Like I said before the series, this is a team of destiny with the Hand of God on them. God is undefeated. He wanted to humble the Dodgers, with their back loaded ridiculous deferral contracts. In the end, God never makes mistakes!

I was like this about the Raptors until we took the 3-2 lead in the NBA Finals. That's when "great season guys" turns into you simply have to win it all.
