I am not sure. If you send him now to the bench he talks to the media and rants about you expose him even more and draw attention.
But nevertheless. This whole Klay situation was clear from the beginning. Why did they even sign him

Because team saw in Finals how desperately they needed offense around Luka. Unfortunately the Idiot suddenly changed his mind and believed he can win championship without offense. It's not only Klay, who's lost in this system, Naji and Lively looked lost too and Grimes is balling elsewhere.
Nico basically took away engine from Formula One and believed nothing will change.

Exactly.
Klay without a PG is almost useless... Like 70% of this roster and the result are under our eyes.

Many of us saw this, Klay wasnt even that good with Luka
Steph carried his overrated back side, its like Tomy Brady and Bill Bellicheck

He is not in his prime but he was still a 39% 3points shooter last year with almost 8 attemps. It's almost elite.
The space for Luka to operate with Klay on the court was amazing. They fitted like a glow.
But anyway these speeches are useless. We are not a good team so who cares. Sell all the vets ASAP.

But the team won with the softest player in the league out once again, so there's that positive note

Probably street clothes is the classic addiction by subtraction... Great player along superstars and HOFs but alone he can't lead a team to PO. Fact.

He basically couldn't to that in his best years with NOLA, don't know why Nico thought he would be able to do it in his declining years now. Though to be fair, i think everyone expected he'll have a lot of help from Kyrie but that's another injury prone player on the wrong side of his career.
Funny thing is, so far, i was much more impressed with Flagg's defense than AD lol. Nico again fell upwards with 1.78% odds.

I know conspiracy theorists are laughed at, but i still say this was part of the Luka deal, not crazy odds

Me too... And Silver statement during the ASG "trust in your FO" and Nico after the draft "i hope now fans can see my vision" are pretty clear for me.

That’s why he’s still in the team. He’s always in the right spot. He may not be good enough to make the play but he’s at least in the right spot.

The new "Big Fundamental" lol. Seriously, DP has a high bball IQ. It's in the Stanford dna.
Cooper on D last night was impressive. Eventually I think his best position will be PF, but right now I think it's SF. I really like a Cooper/Naji rotation at SF.
I said it last year, and it's even more true now. Klay has to come off the bench, doing nothing but catch and shoot.

Depends on the lineups- With usual starting 5, Coop is 1, with a shuffled lineup that has DLo, Coop is either 3 or 4 yes. Because there are also PJ and Naji who's natural position is 3 and they play like that. The odd man out is always Cooper and i feel bad for the kid because his coach can't figure stuff out.
Yeah Klay looks like he's washed. All those off season videos look good in an empty gym but real games kinda tell a different story.

Looking at box score is really something, 1st, 2nd and 4th best scorer came from bench, best assistant, bench. Best +/-, bench. Bench scored 60% points. I doubt you can see something like that anywhere else, Kidd is a genius.

Clearly, BWeed or DLo should be on the court at times.
Max has earned his minutes.
Hardy is problematic, to say the least. He's a high efficiency outside shooter on a team that needs scoring and spacing. He's still a matador on defense. Perhaps pairing him with Max could work more?

Yea Cooper’s defense has been pretty good, too bad everyone else has sucked. He also seems to have a pretty good back to the basket game too. I’m hoping he will be more aggressive on offense as the season goes along.
With AD out for at least a few games I want Cooper to be relied on more for his scoring. I’m also hoping the experiment with him as the starting PG is over with soon. The teams plays sooo much better then they have an actual PG who on the floor with them.
