Obviously, we are super early, but the Pacers aren't going to be sniffing the playoffs. Boston is looking shakey. That's potentially two playoff spots that have freed up for new teams. Orlando is off to a bad start too, I'm sure they'll figure it out.

Orlando is too talented to not figure it out. But this happened to the 2021 Hawks team that went to ECF, they have been struggling since. I think the coaching situation in Orlando will also determine which way they're going this year.
Miami Heat will be there, Spo is the best in maximizing talent.

Hopefully back to the good ol days where a GT would regularly have 99+ pages. That's when this place was special.

Re: PG: SIMPLY UNBEATABULL
I am not one who usually asks for help. But I could really use some right now.
It has been so long since I have been able to feel sports joy and happiness.
I'm not sure how to process this any more. 4-0 to start the season. I am lost. Speechless. It feels like the world is spinning out of control. But in a good way. Like the first time you ever hit the spliff and you just sat and giggled for an hour.
So I really need your help. Could you guys maybe just do a wellness check for me on here every few hours
And if you're suffering from the same feelings, please know that I am here for you. Night, day... doesn't matter. Together, we can get through this until the next game.

We’re developing a #1 draft pick level talent
We got absolutely lucky with him falling
Beyond lucky. A #11 pick and guy most Bulls fans were furious about trading Caruso for both look like franchise cornerstones.

Boy, was AKME right about Josh Giddey, in preferring him to those crappy 2024 draft picks that most Bulls fans wanted. That makes up for the Vuc trade, when most Bulls fans were concerned, if not outright unhappy.
And of course Matas looks great -- but no controversy there, as we were all delighted when he dropped to #11.
The Bulls possess a young duo that every team in the NBA would love to have.

Matas is such a naturally creative player on offense. I feel like a lot of the moves he pulls off he just comes up with on the spot, while improvising. He's just such a fluid mover with the ball.

I'm the happiest I have been in at least a decade. Unlike most Bulls fans, I never trusted the '22 team. It couldn't beat anybody good and the construction looked wonky, with too much dependence on the two low-defense iso players of Zach and DDR. Plus, that squad was much older than this one.
But this young group, I am all in on them.

Very happy that the 15-5 finish last year doesn't seem like it was a fluke. It didn't feel like a fluke when it was happening. Hopefully they keep it up.
What kind of cruel ironic fate brought DeRozan and Lavine together again? You know they have to be thinking in the back of their heads, this tandem ain't it.

Re: PG: SIMPLY UNBEATABULL
Seemed like Demar and Zach desperately wanted to sneak away with the Bulls at the end there lol. I know they both were on the team and everyone is close but I’ve never seen opposing players hang out on the court for so long after the game and look so overjoyed. They were even yakking it up with the new dudes who weren’t there when they were.
Those poor guys must be miserable and Christie pulling Zach with 1:30 left while they were about to cut it to single digits probably pissed him off.

It does feel like those D Rose days again, which was 16/17 years ago, feels like another life for me haha I'm not even living on the same continent or having same career as during those days...
As in the bulls best, most dynamic playmakers and difference makers on both offense and defense are 22/23 and 20/21y old this season and they are flanked by bench mob...
i know we all are more cautious as we got burned again and again in past but im as hyped as that 2011 season

I'm having fun but tempering my expectations. 45 wins, a good first-round playoff showing (win or lose), and strong seasons from Giddey & Matas would work just fine for me. We can build from there.

The 15 part Amare trade thread saga and the BlackJesus insider information. We were losing our minds over the possibility of Rose + Amare.

This team reminds me of the 2004-2005 squad the most. No stars, but massively overachieved. They didn’t replace AD and Curry appropriately and the next year was a step back.

We replaced DDR and Zach
For
Giddey and Tre. Two high IQ, pure PG, make the winning play and the right read on both ends.
The product we are watching on the floor is the byproduct of their games. Unselfish, team oriented, and winning.
Sure is fun to watch.

That's precisely why the threads discussing how to go all in or who to trade for are actually valid in case of bulls and not just daydreaming-
We all have seen this multiple times...
This kind of magic run bench mob, power of friendship teams last exactly one season until there's time to pay mid guys/ bench mob guys starter money- it all falls apart from there. Need one more stud to enhance Giddey/Matas combo
