Incredible start to the season. Hoping I can stay up for Spurs game.

So, who goes to the bench once Herro comes back? Mitchell? Will Spo go small and move Ware to the bench?

Why isn't Rozier's deal being voided if Porter's deal was previously voided? Still TBD?

Does Herro go back to his 6th man role? Jaquez seems to have that locked up at this point.

Because the NBA found the evidence on Porter made a declaration, punishment and Porter admitted to it. The NBA didn't find conclusive evidence on Rozier. The FBI feels they have enough evidence but they have to prove it in court. Rozier situation is not a catch you red handed arrest. Like this is about informants and the FBI has to prove their informants are reliable.

When I say catch you red handed, is like a person getting arrested with the possession of cocaine, or catching you in the act. The NBA needs more conclusive information before they can void his contract.

I got you... thanks for the clarification!
Seems like Porter was less of a dog and pony show compared to Rozier. But, I guess this is how a lot of things are these days.

We just sent Precious packing for the 2nd time :(

I’d love to see him in this offense running the point.

The precious pick was definitely a head scratcher… as if we did not already have a Bam on the team. We either needed a true center or pg…. Yet we went with a tweener.

Truly a shame about Precious over Maxey. How is he defensively?

Jerami Grant has played well for the Blazers as their 6th man so far: 21ppg on 52-47-86 on 7+ FTA/game in 27 minutes.

When teams adapt and properly game plan for what we are doing, things slow down, and we play tighter contested games, we will desperately need Herro and Powell to get us half court buckets.

I think the main issue with Herro is he shouldn't be the primary ball-handler on offense.

Might be early but we might have a Ware problem on our hands. Kid has all the tools except the running motor.

He has a real Jekyll and Hyde situation to him. Some moments he looks locked in and like he's not taking any **** from anyone. Other moments he looks like he's ready to apologize to anyone on the court for the slightest fouls. He needs to keep that mean streak and stay aggressive.

In the words of Greg Pop, Ware needs to "show us some nasty!!!"

He's young. I think Ware is still another two-three years away from being a consistent contributor. Him and jovic are far from finished products. Ware is 21 and jovic turned 22 a couple months back. They both show lots of mental lapses and a lack of toughness.

Edrice was busting that ass, the numbers confirm the eye test. Just needed to push through a little more to get that one. Wild that this is the first time the spurs have ever started 5-0.

I keep saying it about him and you all have heard the saying elsewhere 1000 times but the saying is true, YOU CANT TEACH MOTOR!!!! I know he’s young but damn man, you’re too big and talented to not give us anything. We really need a legit PG to get the bigs some easy looks. Get a few easy ones early and then you have a little pep in your step and the flow of your game on the night can be completely different.

Love Davion, he’s a scrappy mfer who prides himself in defense over anything but he’s not a starting caliber PG on a championship team. He CAN be a great spark plug 2nd unit guy though and that’s a big difference maker, especially in the playoffs.

That’s the frustrating part though, Ware is ready now if he will just stay locked in. It’ll jump start his development even further too

Despite last night not being a high scoring game we still rank 9th in offense, 4th in defense, and 3rd in net rating.

Still 1st in pace but dropped from 1st to 5th in PPG.

Also for those wondering about the offense change, apparently we brought in Memphis old assistant and implemented his offense from Memphis
