Bam doesn’t shoot 3s.. “bam needs to take 3s”..

Bam in 1 game takes 13 3s coz more then half the team not offering much… “Ugh”

I think his 3 point attempts will naturally start to go down once teams start scouting to actually guard him outside the paint though. And that will open up driving lanes for him which hopefully lead to FTs.

FTs are still something we're sorely missing on this team...

Jovic tried to draw some. He looked so awkward though. Not believable.

Remember that one time we played 3 vs 10 and almost won?

Refs kind of cooked us too tbh, there’s definitely a Wemby agenda happening right now. Some of the calls with castle were wild too

Yeah once he had that start trying to force calls it was downhill from there for him for the rest of the game.

We were about to build a lead in the 1st when it got super suspish.

We antagonized it though with some epic performances by B&B.

The good:

- Bam aggression and productivity.
- Wiggins efficiency and involvement.
- Fontecchio still on a heater.
- Still in the game down the stretch despite playing largely terrible.

The bad:

- Ware invisible.
- Jovic terrible.
- Jaime regression.
- Davion going full Rozier.

Nothing you can do when the refs/silver have already determined they aren't letting nba's new golden boy lose. This is with Norm and Herro already missing in action.

Think most of us already pencilled this as a loss prior to tip off so whatever, on to the next.

Bam resurgence is a huge plus if there's any moral victories to take that's for sure.

I mean, 13 is a lot. 6-8 seems like a sweetspot for Bam but you can't fault him for being aggressive and trying to score with our main go to guys out.

They were open looks though. Bam actually had some good success in the paint vs Wemby in this one despite being significantly shorter. I get why he may have wanted to try and drag Wemby out of the paint with those 3pt looks though.

If Heat had Powell or Herro they would have won this one. Not feeling down about this L at all. Heat aren’t winning the championship this year, just setting the field to become a contender. Progress is being made.

Spo probably told him to jack them up since we had no Powell and Herro tonight. With those 2 I'd expect a lower volume from Bam unless he's hot from 3.

Powell seems like he's able to get to the line and Herro improved at that last season as well.

Spo also needs some criticism.

Late 3rd, he took out both bam and wiggins at the same time. Collapse.

Late 4th. He took out dru for Mitchell. Collapse.

That was the game.

I didn't see the game but watched the Wembanyama highlights.

It seems like Bam did a very good job on him overall. A lot of his points came on other guys, and quite a few were also opportunistic. The few baskets that came on Bam were mostly very well (and intelligently) contested.

If spurs had fox would cancel out both Herro and Powell :P

That Wemby block on Jaime was a clear goaltend. Refs just look at a 7'5 guy and assume anything he swats away is a clean block.

Yea he got the superstar ignore with that block and 2 others on the re broadcast i caught. Im not mad at the lost cause i think we wouldve won with powell and even Herro cause of their gravity but health is another part of the game. Hopefully Ware and the others watch the tape and learn from this. Bam and Wiggins were beasts this game and i cant wait to see them locked in after more chemistry in the playoffs

Yeah but my expectations for this Heat team were super low. Barely losing to the Spurs, who are quickly emerging as a top 4 team in the West, is not the end of the world.

Absolutely not. Fox is nice af, but not "outperform Herro AND Powell", nice. But the Spurs are missing their backup center and sochan too. If both teams are healthy, it would be one hell of a game.
