I have faith these guys have beat the best of the best. Yama is the final boss but we can get to him. Whatever it takes!

There's a huge difference between a close loss tonight and a blowout loss tonight. We have way more pitching options over the course of 2 games than they do.

I'd love for them to use Ohtani as the first reliever tonight. Get his bat out of the lineup for the end of the game.

They're not gonna do that

And if they do decide to do that in a game 7, they can shift him to RF and just put Teo at DH. There's no scenario where Ohtani will be removed from the lineup other than injury

A Springer first inning HR might send the city into a frenzy

Love that line up. If only Springer and Bichette was fully healthy, but regardless, nice to have all our best bats out there against Yamamoto

I really hope John doesn't even think about subbing in Straw for Barger, or anyone for Bo, at any point in the game.

We're 1 run away from tying the record for the most runs by a team in a single postseason.

Blow the game wide open in the 1st.

A lone Springer HR won't do much to Yoshi. He allowed a first pitch homerun to the Brewers and then went on to pitch a complete game.

We need to break Yoshi completely.

Yeah, no.

If we're up by a few in the 8th or especially the 9th, you absolutely bring in defensive replacements. IKF for Bo to shore up our infield is absolutely something that he should consider depending on the situation.

I didnt know that was a rule. Thats good news.

So you can only pitch and DH at the same time if you are a starter? Weird. I guess when they made the ohtani rule they didnt include relief pitching.

I guess thats why they will probably start Ohtani in a potential game 7 because they can always pull him for glasnow. But they can't pull glasnow for ohtani. Interesting.

Someone said something interesting in the YouTube comments. They stated that Yamamoto was rattled (in the Japanese leagues) when players bunted, stole bases, manufactured runs, and played small ball to take him out of his rhythm and rattled him; draw out his pitches and have long at bats. You may not get as many home runs but singles, bunts, walks, stolen bases, etc will be more advantageous for the jays to employ than in the previous games. Of course, if you get a first pitch that leads to a home run, then you take that and run.

So good for eyes to not finally see this scrub in the lineup, pretty much being a guaranteed out at the plate. Lineup looks fantastic. Time to win it in 6 games tonight in the 6ix.
