What I find concerning here is that to get Josh the minutes he expects, Kolek is not going to get to play at all and he would have to take up all the back-up PF minutes while one of either KAT or Mitch is at the 5.

Bringing the ball up is supposed to be Kolek's job when Brunson sits. Josh is taking Kolek's job. I swear I noticed it when they were on the court together the other night, Josh either asked for the ball from Kolek early coming up the court or did not give it up to Kolek.

I think part of the change over to brown is the guards aren’t the only ones bringing the ball up. Kolek can still create in the half court if hart is pushing it on the break. Or they can do some hand off action at the top of the key after hart brings it up. Also we don’t really know if Kolek is good. Not sure how much we really need to prioritize him compared to someone like hart.

Dolan got back involved with the Knicks because The Sphere is bleeding money. Every Boomer with spare $ to a see a spectacle show of geriatric rockers playing against the backdrop of what is an essentially a giant ret*rded overblown IMAX theater has already had their bucket list experience so they stopped going.

That caused Dolan to start meddling in the Knicks again.

He insisted they fire Thibs and hire Brown, exactly the wrong hire for the team.

Coming up, the Knicks massively underachieve and have a 41-41 record, getting eliminated in the first round by the 76ers.

Dolan freaks out and fires Leon Rose, the entire front office and Brown and brings back Isiah Thomas to "right the ship"

Brunson and OG are soon traded for Anthony Davis and Brandon Ingrim.
