Would have preferred Livingston instead of Gary Harris.

Livingston young and improving. Harris not good and declining.

Cavs doing Rich Paul a solid by giving his client a 2-way spot.

Just like the Bucks unnecessarily guaranteeing Livingston’s deal before waiving him.

Would have been cheaper to do a straight payoff to Klutch.

Jay Huff is ass. Pacer fans deluded themselves into thinking he could fill Turners shoes with ease.

Did you really expect Doc to embrace a full youth movement?

While I agree, there is also option C, which is cut both and pick up an actual good prospect. Trentyn Flowers was available. Rick Council is injured now, but will eventually be available.

Nothing natural from Embiid that ended up kicking a dude in the nuts and he still got the call.

That team is going to lose 70 games. They will be dying to part with that contract.

How does that check out with last two years though? I don't know, just the vibe the last couple years has seemed to be all positive. couple games in which pretty much everyone on the team got big negatives like that in blowouts isn't much to base it off.

ETA: I'm no expert on advanced. But quick rudimentary look last year he was slightly good O rtg, with lower D rating. So it came out about a wash. The year before he was about neutral O rating, D he was a large positive. Someone else can dig more but doesn't seem like anything glaring there, especially while playing in a bit of poor situation. Main point was the question of are we basing this on 4 games? which your answer seems like you were. And side note, 25 mil per year in the current NBA is not a ridiculous contract, we just have to get used to the absurd numbers they're being paid

Can ReasonablySober field this question for me? Please and thank you

Buddy there is absolutely nothing I know less about.

32/10/8 from Gidds so far. He might have surpassed Sabonis and PP’s favourite child.

As I commented back in June 2024, the guy was only 21 and had a very unique ability to run a ball movement offense. He looked like a potential Kukoc. Would OKC have used cap room and dealt him to us for Middleton? Don’t know. But would have been a home run deal at this point.

Portland got a jump ball in a big spot and I have no idea what the officials were looking at because Jokic was literally getting held from behind.

Jrue has started the season in amazing form - 19.6/5.4/7.8, and the Blazers look like a basketball team

I mean if that deal was available, which I'd be really surprised if it was (they were definitely looking to upgrade the D, which Mids clearly wouldn't have done), Giddey instead of Kuzma makes this team very interesting. Could he play off Giannis? Would his presence have meant Rollins and KPJ were more off-ball? Could this team cover his defensive limitation?

I don't think he fits the identity of this team.

I think they'll be in the playoffs or absolute minimum the play in. I don't see them as a title contender or anything but they were pretty good (and maybe more importantly, fun to watch) down the stretch last season and that's carried over to start this season.

The way people destroyed them for the Caruso/Giddey swap never made much sense to me, even as someone that generally isn't super high on Giddey. He was a terrible fit with OKC but it's always been clear he's a pretty talented player.

Late season play is commonly dismissed, but the Bucks, Bulls, and Blazers have continued on their trajectory, while Cavs have continued their malaise.
