Yami’s pitch count was on an escalator until Vlad hit into that DP. Now he’s in great shape. Too bad.

Idk why. Yamamoto looks good and is mowing our hitters down too. Much more likely Gausman cracks first.

I mean Gausman is doing well but he won't last past 5 innings at his pitch count

Gausman is lucky to go 5-6 innings at his Pitch Count. Yamamoto can go 9 Innings. That is the difference. Jays fans should be the ones panicking if they let Yamamoto settle in nicely.

I'm sure that if Yamamoto is dealing, he isn't coming out even if he hits 100 pitches. In the Japan series, he threw a 130 pitch game in the final. So pitch count doesn't mean a whole lot here. We gotta hit him to get him outta here.

That Vlad DP destroyed our chances. We need baserunners to be able to throw Yama off his groove. Otherwise its gonna be another easy complete game for him. If we cant get to their bullpen, might as well get ready for Game 7.

I was kind of hoping Varsho would try a bunt. Try and test the defence out. Especially if after Muncy let the ball go by.

He's gonna break down in a handful of years if they keep overworking him like this.

But for the here and now, let's try to do our best to help preserve his longevity by a few days.
