0-3 road trip. Mitch and Deuce, do they make a difference? Discuss.

I said it before but neither are needle movers. They don’t make much of a difference. We have issues that those two aren’t fixing

for a large portion of last year a lot of us felt there was something "off" with the team... they somehow got to the ECF but didn't look great doing so.

this year we had more hope I guess because we added some vets to the bench? i don't know. it's the same flawed roster.

same core that couldn't beat any of the top teams (let's be honest, celtics series win was a fluke and they barely got past a mid pistons team).

I would rather struggle early than struggle late but they better figure this **** out in the near future.

Josh Hart basically being useless is not good. We know with Brunson/KAT the other 3 guys out there on the floor need to be in complete sync to help them out defensively...and that simply isn't happening right now.

This team is designed to be a high volume scoring team with Brunson and Towns with OG and Mikal as the release valve.

All we had to do was add a few more switchable defenders as well as improve bench scoring

Trying to change a winning formula only leads to misery

the limited mitch + kat minutes were pretty good. thought they should have closed with that lineup instead of swapping mitch for kat.

Deuce was pretty awful. brunson's defense was terrible and he made too many selfish plays down the stretch (didn't pass to OG who was wide open after hitting back to back 3s from the same spot)

We have enough talent to make up for some of deficits but the deficits are really being exposed right now: guards too light, too soft, too small and bigs too slow, too soft, too few. The pace, increased possessions, is exposing it more. But it's mainly a roster problem, you're not winning a championship unless you can play uptempo and defend.

Our offense lacks patience and discipline

Substitutions are so all over the place

Roster is still as flawed as last year but appears to have taken a step back

Oh and Deuce played an entire quarter and a half straight. Interesting

We’re getting good looks from an offensive perspective (shots aren’t falling) but defensively we’re inconsistent this year

Knicks still have the same problem. They are too small and will struggle against bigger longer backcourts. Deuce, Clarkson and Shamet will not work as a bench unit. I would like to see Diawara get a chance over Shamet with that unit.

Sometimes it's OK to put down your rosey colored glasses even on your franchise savior. Brunson sucks on D man. He's too small and laterally he's awkward as hell. Should have made the Giannis trade.
