We started last year 5-5. We lost 3 in a row last year mid season (bulls were one of those L’s)

It’s clear this team isn’t in shape and isn’t coming into games or out of half times with urgency. They probably thought the east was gonna be a cake walk and they could coast to the finals but teams are playing faster and hungrier than them and they should be feeling like they’ve gotten slapped in the face multiple times now

We have a losing record now at 2-3. This next stretch of games at home will show me what type of season this is gonna be. We have 7 straight at home and we play the bulls and heat who both beat us already. Let’s see how we respond.

Thibodeau was a much better coach for this roster.

Still not seeing any chemistry between kat and brunson.

Was actually frustrating to see Brunson go iso when we cut the lead when kat was cooking.

Then Brown brought in jHart, shamet and clarkson and the lead ballooned to double digits.

Winnable game and some promising signs. KAT looked good for a stretch but then fell back down to earth. Mitch was decent. He’ll be better. Deuce was rusty after the layoff.

OG is starting to wake up. We’re gonna be fine. The East is wide open.

I watched a stream of the bulls broadcast.... did they mention anything about Yabs or why he didn't play at all after his short stint early? He hit a 3 and had a block - didn't think he looked bad.

Boy, Mitch and Josh Hart sure added a lot to the team tonight, eh?

Good post. I think we’ll be 7-5 after 12. Decent.

I was here for the good times. 2024-2025. Dolan ruined everything.

Thank you. The sky is in fact not falling.

We had cut it to two with 2 minutes left until Kat screwed the pooch on 2 straight offensive and defensive possessions, killed our momentum.

We have time to get it together.

Deuce was pretty awful. brunson's defense was terrible and he made too many selfish plays down the stretch (didn't pass to OG who was wide open after hitting back to back 3s from the same spot)

That was the mistake Brown did. Duece can't cover big pgs guards and JB definitely can't. So we had 3 bad defenders out there. Closing lineup against this team should've been

Mitch
Towns
OG
Bridges
Brunson
JB is Him

I think Leon should have a policy where one member of the board is selected each week to "coach" one game -- curious what the cumulative record would be versus Brown. :x

The pace, increased possessions, is exposing it more. But it's mainly a roster problem, you're not winning a championship unless you can play uptempo and defend.

Hard to win when both of your "stars" are liabilities on defense and are dont really play off each other well on offense. Sure kat helps with spacing for kat. But that about all the cohesion we see from them.

We really need a Hartenstein back, move some guards to find another dependable active big.

We allowed 35+ points in 3 of the 4 quarters tonight. Bulls basically ran us off the court. It’s no wonder we looked better when we shorted the rotation in the second half. Just another example of how Mike browns experimentation is losing us games.

He had a horrendous drive then was immediately blown by on defense and that was the end of his night.

Legit, I know people don't want to hear this, but when I see the inconsistent rotations and the ups-and-downs and the Knicks going down and fighting back, I do think Mike Brown is still trying to figure the team out. There are some rotations I'm not a fan of; the 4 smalls and 1 big was not working, for example. I'm giving this team patience.
