I wasn't thinking about him pitching in game 7, I thought he needed to pitch as long as he could to secure that win tonight because let's be real, he's the only pitcher who can stop this lineup.

Jays are gonna use Gausman for an inning tomorrow too, he still had bullets left today when they pulled him too

He’s not playing tomorrow. It’s probably going to be Scherzer starting with Bieber, Yesavage and Bassitt in the bullpen.

Very uncharacteristic of him

We should stop this false narrative. Ambushing the first pitch is VERY characteristic of Ernie. He's been doing it all season. He's not a patient hitter. He's an aggressive hitter.

I mean...this isn't a controversial or debateable point. Ernie ALWAYS attacks the first pitch. He didnt get the pitch he was counting on and it popped up instead of going foul.

It also doesn't matter to take pitches in the ninth. You're not trying to wear down a pitcher or have "quality at-bats" at that point.

Bad play aside I'm so impressed by how Barger grew during these playoffs. He went from not able to hit lefties and swing at everything to now being a menace no matter who's on the mound. Tip of the cap.

I think we will see some very unconventional pitching decisions tomorrow night. It's the last game of the season regardless of the result. Everyone will be available on both sides. I hope the Jays at least consider an opener tomorrow because I don't trust Scherzer. At least if you give him one inning where he doesn't have to face Ohtani and Freeman, it would improve his chances of pitching better.

Yeah but Gausman is the shakiest of all the starting pitchers and he’s already gone 6 innings. Schneider will get booted out of Toronto if he opts to use Gausman instead of the other starters.

That will be so haunting if we lose tomorrow.

I keep feeling the uneasiness.

Initially I thought this loss was worse than Game 3, but honestly anything's better than going to bed at 3AM after a loss.

Yeah, I'd think one inning. But we'll see. Need to have a lead.

Ohtani starting will be on a short rest right, by a day? Same as Bieber. We'll see how many innings they can go. I feel good that we have Bieber, Bassit, maybe Lauer, Yesavage all available for 1-2 innings after Max. Stronger than the regular bullpen for a single game. Just hope Max can keep the score down
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Somebody with good contact skills better be batting behind Bo tomorrow. They took advantage of not having to pitch to Bo.

Well, the one bright side if we lose the World Series is we don't have to see Ed Rogers holding up the Commissioner's Trophy.

#Silverlinings

But the players still deserve it so let's try to win anyway.

Good news is after tomorrow you don’t have to see those annoying Canadian Tire and Home Depot commercials anymore.

He's definitely not the shakiest starter lol. If he's available, I expect them to use him if needed.

Yamamoto is a beast period. Dude is like an artist on the mound using different nuances of colors for his masterpiece, it can't be replicated. He makes those other all star pitchers from the Dodgers look like average pitchers, the stats back that up.

Very worried about Scherzer but if he finishes his career (?) with a heroic performance, how incredible would that be... Surely baseball god would prefer that to whatever the Dodgers are doing.
