Ohtani had some good hits off Scherzer last game...I feel like he may have to walk Ohtani at times. Now, Gausman shouldn't have because he has proven he can get Ohtani out.

Personally I don't think they should walk Ohtani, unless he's hitting. Today it didn't pay off and the Dodgers scored because of it.

It worked to Schneiders game plan. Let everyone else beat you.

Bro....there is nothing "haunting" about any of this.

We came last place in our division last year. We made very underwhelming moves last off season. Nobody had any expectations for this season.

Yet we went on an unprecedented run for the last 4 months of the season. There are 5 contributing guys on our world series roster that were not even established starting lineup pros 10 mnonths ago. We have a 22 year old that was pitching in front of 200 people to start the season.

There is no "haunting". We are on a glorious path of destiny. We have nothing to lose or be haunted by.

It’s not gonna be haunting, it’s just gonna brutally suck because the chances of this franchise making it back to this game any time soon are minimal and Vlad is having one of the greatest postseasons of any player in history.

But we could also win, I’d prefer that instead

We’d have taken game 7 at home before the series started and it’s not like we blew a lead or anything tonight

Things could be worse

I suppose the one bright side of losing in the way we did is that it happened in a Game 6 instead of Game 7. We're all too used to seeing sports teams in this city (Leafs in particular) go into a Game 7 with all the momentum and then shat the bed at the final hour. But we had our embarrassing blunder and bad luck not quite at the final hour this time so hopefully that's out of the way now and we can have a normal Game 7 (and a win)

Agreed. This is our one and only chance. Wevare not a stacked team expecting to win for multiple years. That's what makes it glorious.

This is a million times better than watching Matthews/marner/Nylander win a cup. The dodgers are the maple leafs. The jays are the anti-maple leafs. We can't lose.

The only starter in this series that has shut us down in this series is Yamamoto. While he may factor into tomorrow’s game we won’t have to face him for several innings.

Not going to lament tonight’s loss but if you said we’d have a game 7 at home at the start of the series you’d take that all day long.

Also that lodged ball call was extremely bad luck. Not that 1 run would’ve made a difference anyway since we were down 2 but so weird it gets stuck at that point in time how often does that happen.

I believe we will stay competitive..expecting Barger, clement, kirk to get better..lukes, giminez can continue to improve their hitting...satander can get back to last year's satander...yesavage becomes our ace..Lauer,gausman look good.. if we resign beiber and bassit, plus get another top of rotation, top bat and lights out 8-9 inning reliever/closer...vlad can get back to the mvp type few years ago..springer can just be same or fall of a little bit...I think we will be better plus money off the books and huge playoff earnings...nimmala can become a star 2-3 years down and couple others graduate from minors plus some deadline deals..

Again we’ve never won a low scoring affair so we definitely neee to score some runs to win this game.

I would argue this time some of the batters kind of choked a bit with RISP. It's not like we couldn't get on base against Yama, we actually got people on a couple of times but they couldn't cash in. Varsho whiffed a few, and Clement and Bo did too.

Also the barger double play wtf was he thinking man… it’s not like he’s scoring either way if it srops, and you have Springer coming up. All you need is a rucking single. Come on man.

We will score..vlad,bo,Springer, kirk need to have good games at the same time...they are due as a unit, then Barger will make up for his gaffes and clement will make up for his blown chance and varsho knows he was a liability, a real rally killer..he is due...it could be an 8plus run game

How was it bad luck though? If the ball bounces off the wall barger is still ending up at second either way. It really made no difference. I’m not sure why this play is such a big deal right now … made no difference in terms of where the tying run ended up on the bases and the rule was probably applied. OK, maybe it’s 3-2 instead of 3-1 but the location of the tying runner was all that really mattered there.

Also hearing kikes post game interview he said he was playing shallower than the scouting report… which makes sense because off the bat it definitely looks like a bloop single I was surprised how easily he ran it down…

Despite only one run, we actually hit the ball Ok today given the opposition pictures.. just bad timing could not really string hits together, bad hitting with runners and scoring position. One really bad base running blunder but overall we hit the ball pretty well given who we are facing.

We hit better than the Dodgers overall, but the Dodgers strung some hits together and that really was the difference.

But that’s baseball
