Embiid flops and kicks Gonzalez in the nuts

Post#1 » by Ticket » Sat Nov 1, 2025 11:59 am

Refs still gave him three FTs of course.

Can’t wait for this clown to retire.

It is hard to get those calls right often, but man, Hugo does nothing.

That looked more like his knee grazed him there, not his foot, so should say kneed him in the nuts.

Well luckily for you Embiid looks to be on the verge of retirement anyways. Looks awful this year

He's on a minutes restriction and they are ramping him up, but honestly I expected him to look worse.

Statistically he's at 27.9 pts/36 on 59% TS and the team has been + when he's been on the floor the last two games at least, but defensively though, I don't know about him on that end anymore, lol

Know it looks like a graze but Hugo stayed down for a while, so it was a full blow.

(Hugo does not stay down if he doesn’t need to btw as seen later in the game)

Offensively he will always look decent, but he´s pretty bad on defense nowadays, its sad. ANd he was limping, jumping with one knee, some bad signs ... If his defense doesnt improve in the next 10-20 games, i think he would be more suited to play off the bench, as our 6th man. I doubt he would like that, but we gotta play really slow with him, which isnt what Maxey and VJ likes to do.

Being hit in the nuts is less about how hard you get hit and more about the angle. It hurts far more than the actual force applied as we should mostly all (some women here too) be very aware of.

The officiating of that game was absolutely garbage all night. Sixers almost had 20 more free throws and the refs did all they could to get Philly across the line

Jaylen Brown was regarded as the anti Christ all game by the refs.

Games like that make you wonder if refs actually placed big bets on the home team.

Proceeds to walk off the court without shaking hands after missing the game winner.

Flopper, dirty player, sore loser, sore winner. All that on his resume but no CF.

Embiid is a bum of the highest order. Reminds me of when he flopped and ended Danny Green's career by destroying his knee.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Embiid is a great player but I'll be happy to see him go.

Embiid is so talented but I just can't stand this dude. It's sad that he's also been training at the Draymond Green nut crunching academy now.

Your clip is from the end of the 3rd quarter -- the "knee job" happened about the halfway point in the 4th and Gonzalez did NOT play for the rest of the game. I doubt that it will happen, but I hope that the NBA looks into it further for the purpose of fining him for his unnecessary flopping and flailing.

Woops, my bad. Yeah no way he’s getting fined for it if the refs already reviewed and cleared it.

Embiid truly is the most shameless player ever.

Even if he cut out the flopping he would still be MVP caliber. Sucks to see such a talented player be so blatant with this crap

Gonzalez fouled him before so I get why he shot free throws, but I don’t see how there wasn’t a flagrant there. That was very clearly not a basketball move. If you get fouled that shouldn’t give you a free pass to knee someone in the nuts after.

I didn't realize that Embiid is playing this season. True that.
