I've been defending Giddey for his entire time in Chicago and even in OKC, he was constantly mis-cast. It looks like they've found his right fit in Chicago and they're now 5-0 and he's playing like an All Star

He might legitimately be the James Harden of the OKC group

He's just not a number one and I don't see it for him in Chicago. Houston, that's a team that's a Josh Giddey away from winning the chip. Chicago, that's a Josh Giddey away from perennial first round exits. Maybe a second round appearance with injuries and the right match up.

It was a win/win trade. Giddey was never going to get the opportunity to flourish into the player he appears to be trending towards in OKC with SGA and JDub already there. Happy for Giddey, he caught a lot of slander that year he struggled with JDub taking a leap while having to take a backseat himself for the betterment of the team.

My scientific observation and baller knowledge says he's breaking out because he's using more product and doesn't have to focus as much on brushing back those dreamy locks.

Josh Giddey's father Warrick Giddey played for the same team that Australia's best ever basketball player played for, Andrew Gaze.
And Josh Giddey received plenty of individual coaching from Gaze during his teens...

It’s just odd criticism for a 23 year old who is playing well.

“Yeah, this 23 year old is playing well and his team is winning, but I don’t see them winning the championship.”

Chicago has made the playoffs twice in the last decade

But apparently because they’re not a contender, Giddey isn’t good enough.

Forget that they have Buzelis and Vucevic playing to clearly have a ton of trade value as well as a highly coveted Coby White.

You people have a bias for Giddey because he was accused of something

Last season Giddey averaged 8.1 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and looks like averaging about 8 of each this year (so far 8.8 rebounds, 8.0 assists).

LeBron's career averages are 7.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists.
So can Giddey average 27ppg (LeBron's career average)?

Giddey will probably attempt more shots if he keeps shooting like this- .455 threes (4.4 attempts per game).

I’m here for it.

Think he still has room to improve on ball and with movement 3s and on ball 3s.

He’s a walking trip dub.

Giddey continued his blistering start to the season, falling one assist short of a triple-double. The Bulls remain undefeated to begin the season, with Giddey leading the charge, averaging 22.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 2.0 three-pointers. Outside of his subpar defensive contributions, managers have to be thrilled with what Giddey has served up on a nightly basis. Chicago will look to continue its winning ways when it hosts the Knicks on Sunday.

Another triple double in New York last night. 23/12/12 and +1 in a 12 point loss.
Season averages up to 22.2/9.3/8.7

He looks awkward out there sometimes, but he has been effective.

He’s some who can do a lot of stuff

Specialists thrive on stacked teams like OKC

Giddy is a really good generalist. He can pass, score, rebound, etc and was wildly overqualified for a small role on OKC
