bisme37 wrote:Hey I got some constructive criticism last night about my overabundance of highlight tweets in the post game threads haha.

First I want to say that when the thread gets posted I'm often all frazzled and still editing things a bit. Like last night I didn't know who was going to win until the final buzzer, and I'm prepping both a victory thread and a loss thread while also trying to watch and enjoy the game.

But I've been trying to put most of the tweets under spoilers so the OP isn't a mile long. Sometimes I probably do a better job of that than other times.

But I guess I'm wondering if anyone even cares about all those tweets in the first place. Should I stop with the highlight tweets, or cut them back, or continue what I've been doing? Is it still annoying to people when most of them are under spoilers? Does anyone actually open the spoilers and watch the highlights? Etc.

I love your threads and appreciate the effort it takes. Admittedly, I rarely watch much of the tweets as I’ve already just watched the game and more interested in yours and everyone’s thoughts about it.

Perhaps it could reduce your workload to just wait until after the thread has been created and use official highlights as a OP update when they’ve been created and when you can be bothered? That saves you from having to choose between your favourite children (also known as plays from the game).

But either way I’m happy, it doesn’t affect my experience but my internet is pretty decent.

Not particularly relevant, but perhaps my favorite song that combines the concepts of rocket and surprise.

Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".

Not as good as the other one, but thematic for the Day of the Dead.

Bisme, firstly I'll say do what you find most creatively satisfying for yourself. Your efforts are greatly appreciated, not only serving as a mod but also taking ownership for doing these, and for some time (and not burning out).

Personally, I rarely click on the highlights, but certainly appreciate the times they are there and the theme is compelling enough to me to click on.

I echo DD's words, what you do is much appreciated, even if it seems like it goes unnoticed. It's obviously a lot of work. The same applies to Parl's GTs of course! I know that the more tweets/videos, the less likely I am to watch any (this goes for your or anybody's posts), but that's just me.

You are doing a Great job!!! -- Doing all the Post-Game Threads, and even letting us know early, when you can't.
Make as many spoilers as you feel comfortable with.

The fact that you are even asking us, is proof that you're doing a great job.
Thank You.

I didn't know that they we're in question.
Make sense though; they've both been kinda off.

Reed Sheppard has been one of the hottest topics of discussion on NBA forums, so I am excited to see Reed against the C's
JD Davison, he hasn't been playin, so if he gets on the court it's probably a C's blowout, lol

I am ready for a Fun Night of Celtics bball! Lets GO!
