That was an incredible run from a team that massively outplayed their relative abilities. What guys like Barger, Clement did stepping up as huge contributors was crazy. Lauer holding it down when our SP was struggling. Springer having a silver slugger type breakout at his age. Vladdy becoming a 21st century Mr October. So many great stories coming from this team and year.

But ultimately, and somewhat unfairly, when you think about them it'll come back around to this historic loss.

And baseball is such a luck-based sport in some respects so it'll be so difficult to make it back here.
