13 runners left of base in G6 and G7 is absolutely insane

That has to be a record. He should have been hitting 9th instead today.

I will be having nightmares tonight. The **** can only catch flyballs. Can’t throw, can’t hit. As useless as tits on a bull.

I still hate the fact that Lukes was batting so high.

Roberts made adjustments. John didn't.

Imagine if Roberts just left Pages in the lineup...

I think our FO would have given him a blank check if his 3-hr was the deciding winning runs.

Now, I don't think so.

Bo is gone.

Why? Because they lost? He's been with this team since his rookie year, game up with Vlad. He wants to come back. If he's not on the team next year it's because the Blue Jays didn't give him enough money.

We won't give him enough money. Bo is a LF who can hit, but he wants to be paid like Derek Jeter

Hell of a season! Proud of everyone.

The series came down to a few breaks, most of which went the Dodgers way. I still think if Springer and Bo are healthy the whole series the Jays win. Also, if the ump calls the play at the plate in the 9th safe on the field it doesn't get overturned either and they win. it was that close. Just didn't get the breaks.

Still, great season, great group of guys. Loved (almost) every minute of it.

Bo looks like a better 2B than SS.

Ernie breaks the post-season record for hits and never gets above 6th in the order, while batting 8th in game 7

This was a very fun season and the team drastically exceeded expectations then continued to surprise people at every step of the way, but fans have a right to be angry at how it played out. They had so many chances to bring runners in the past two games, but the offence – which was so good at bringing runners in all season – choked down the stretch. Varsho alone left 13 (THIRTEEN) runners on base in G6 + G7 and he singlehandedly killed multiple rallies before he was finally moved down in the order...yet he was still above Clement – the guy who literally set a record for most hits in a single postseason. The fact that we went into another extra inning game without Bo's bat is baffling too.

I said it before, but I'll say it again. After 32 years, I finally got to see the Jays reach the World Series and they had an extremely good chance to win it all after taking a 3-2 series lead then leading almost all of G7. This was their chance. Maybe they surprise us all and get back to this point in the foreseeable future, but it is far more likely it will be another 20-30 years.

Taking out Bo when they did was the right decision. He can’t run.

Disagree. We saw what he did in the 3rd inning. Absolutely no reason to take him out of the game at that point after a lead-off single with the lefty-on-lefty matchup and two struggling hitters coming up. Barger had an incredible AB and Kirk stuck in there to take one for the team, but it was already a very steep hill to climb – especially with Yamamoto ready in the pen to take over if Snell couldn't get the job done.

If Bo stays in the game, that 11th inning more than likely plays out entirely different and we are either still playing baseball at this point in the 13th/14th inning or we're celebrating.

It was absolutely the right decision. He couldn't move out there and already cost us a run with his base running in the 2nd inning.

Yea man... his arm cost us as well.

Made some nice defensive plays but he was still a huge negative.

Very disappointed in Varsho.

Players left on base is called the choking stat. Jays were 27th in the league on LOB. So they were literally asking to choke with each one stranded

To me that should be a big factor in whether they push to re-sign him. If he's on board to start 2026 at 2B, you make him a competitive offer. If not, time to move on.

We've been blessed with Trey Yesavage for years to come.

Im not convinced. The longer he’s seen the more his unique throwing angle will become less unique and he’s still mostly a 3 pitch guy with a mediocre fastball. Once guys adapt to his unique throwing angle he’s going to seem a lot less special with the Ks and it’s his swing and miss right now that makes him so special.

Yesavage is not commanding his fastball. His minor league walk rate is subpar - the league is going to adjust to laying off that splitter.

I can't imagine any team is throwing big money at him saying they want to keep him at SS full-time.
