Im not convinced. The longer he’s seen the more his unique throwing angle will become less unique and he’s still mostly a 3 pitch guy with a mediocre fastball. Once guys adapt to his unique throwing angle he’s going to seem a lot less special with the Ks and it’s his swing and miss right now that makes him so special.
Yesavage is not commanding his fastball. His minor league walk rate is subpar - the league is going to adjust to laying off that splitter.
