Contract year Duren with a career high 33 points. Now up to 17.8 ppg, 10.2 rpg and 1.5 bpg on only 23.7 mpg played.

Cade with a career high 18 assists. 1 turnover too.

Props to Duren for a huge game.

Pistons have been super consistent this year. We suck every first quarter and play well every second half.

We’ve been down at the end of the 1st in every game. Now 4-2.

Duren is a load, the Mavs had no answer for him. One bright spot for the Mavs is Cooper is a perfect 21/21 from the line this season

Warriors losing to Pacers is probably more unpredictable than anything we saw last season, or the Warriors are a sheep in warrior's clothing :o

Once Copper Flagg gets his field goal game working (and he will) he will be an offensive force. He does most of the other things right (rebounding, dishing, playing defence etc)

Coops will be fine..

And its impossible to be more poised and reliable than Cooper Flagg at the free-throw-line 21-21.

Detriot Pistons fans may be interested to know that their director of scouting is in Melbourne right now watching my SE Melbourne Phoenix whip The Perth Wildcats in the NBL (least according to the commentators)

Quarter by quarter splits for Detroit thru 6 games:

1Q; -45 (trailed at the end of the 1st in all 6 games)
2Q; +16
3Q; +7
4Q; +38

Somebody get these dudes some coffee or something.

Stan Van Gundy said something about similar about The Sixers when they played us in The NBA Cup.

Unless you are super duper stacked team like OKC, with the level of talent and parity in the NBA these days, its pretty much nigh on impossible to play 4 flawless/perfect quarters (even though The Thunder struggled in their first 2 games despite getting the dubs)

I know the third quarters have traditionally being The Celtics stinker of a quarter under Joe Mazz.

Anyhow the good news is your Pistons dispite being slow starters seem to be pretty tough and mentally resilient. You have plenty of time in the rest of the regular season to sort out your slow starts.

Q > Curry.

Pacers Starting PG Quenton Jackson just dropped 25 pts 10 ast 6 reb and hit the game clinching shot. Yes, starter, he's our G-League two-way guy. Our top 4 PG's are out, Hali, Nembhard, TJ, Cam Jones.

Also, Mathurin and Toppin. 5 of the top 7 guys out, not even counting Myles gone.

I'm starting to embrace the unintentional tank.

Still cant figure out why Kidd refuses to start Russell. Also i dont understand why Harrison traded Grimes for Caleb Martin….we need shooting and Grimes is a great shooter. And lastly, we could have used a closer last night and we had one this time last year, what was his name? Nico Harrison, thank you for ruining the Mavs

Watching the Mavs/Pistons game. Cooper looks lost on offense AND defense. Maybe this will be good for his overall development but again shocked at his motor. For someone that has historically played very hard and with a remarkable intensity, he looks like he isn’t playing very hard and not competing.
