Vegas have dodgers as favourite in game 1 through 7
That should tell you something because they are always right.

That's on top of doing nothing with many people on base earlier in the game.

Varsho lost us the series. Both in game 6 and 7.

Varsho made enough contact there to win the game for us. The problem was IKF failed to take a lead from 3rd - he was right next to the bag as the pitch was delivered. If he has a proper lead and slides hand first - he's safe easily.

IKF lost us the World Series. But he should have never played.

Ya I did notice that too. He had no secondary lead either. He should have been half way down the third base line. But that’s also on the base coaches to relay that information to him.

Varsho was **** all series long not just in game 7

How is Randle gonna spin this in favor of Varsho? I’m genuinely curious lol

I thought they should have left bichette in the game. Only a few innings left in the season and he's the only reason you're even in the game

IKF was running for him and was a millimeter away from winning us the game.

It was the right move.

IKF absolutely is the number one reason we lost though. There's a big difference in my opinion between making a mistake despite your best efforts (e.g. failure to execute sac flies), and just making stupid mental mistakes. I don't know if IKF is to blame or the coaching staff, but he should have had a better initial and secondary lead. Also, why did he slide feet first? Why is he looking at Rojas while running at home?

I know I said we shouldn't be complaining, but I haven't figured another way to cope with this gut wrenching loss haha.

It was a really good run, wish they had enough to win it. There are people (white) on the socials saying how the Jays losing is even better story than the Raps winning in 2019. Like what, Raps beat a dynasty that was the Warriors. No way you can down play what the Raps achieved and how amazing it was just because you are not into that sport.

Yeah, I mean hindsight is 20/20, but Bo was hurting out there. Both him and Springer really fought through their injuries.

Yeah, it's a bad take. But for me, when the Raptors won, I was more happy for the hardcore fans out there that stuck through this team in those Bosh/Bargnani years. I was a Raptors fan off and on, so when they won I just thought of those fans being rewarded for their loyalty all those years.

This Jays loss will sting for a long time, though, because they went longer without a World Series appearance than the Raptors' existence as a franchise.

He said the third base coach told him to stay close to the bag because the dodgers got a double play in game 6 because of that.

We’re gonna get back there again bro. Just have to believe. If not this upcoming year then some time again during Vladdy’s tenure.

We have Vlad, Bo, Yesavage, Barger, Kirk, it’s a nice young core. Rogers just has to start landing some of these star players in free agency.

Losing is a better story? Maybe you're paying attention to the wrong people.

Absolutely terrible call by the coaching staff. I get it for runners on first and second, but not third. The only way they get IKF is if Varsho smashes one down the third base line and Muncy catches it and tags third.

We have Bo.

I hope we have Bo. While I can't imagine him wanting to leave, I really hope Rogers doesn't cheap out here.

This fukin hurts, just woke up right now, looking forward we have a nice core but couldn't possibly imagine us coming back to the big show considering the constant changes in Baseball. The guys blew it, they know it and it will be tough coming back from this situation, it is what it is, what's meant to be is meant to be.

Losing cause of the IKF play is as brutal as it gets. Srry BJs fans. They took the risk to take out Bichette for pinch runner and it paid off, the ball was not smoked and Rojas slight bobble fielding it and Smith replant was crucial time lost for the Dodgers. Should've been the World Series winning play!!!

Their strategy was like there was 0 outs, because in that case just take your 2 chances at sacrifice fly and don't mess around. But since there was 1 out, he should have been leading more. If he hits a line drive straight to 3rd IKF's lead doesn't mean that much since he can get double play and end inning with other runners. I think Schneider vs Roberts made the difference. I didn't like Schneider pulling out Kirk in the 18 inning game and Roberts had great series like putting in Glasnow for game 6 and Yama for this game.

If that bat didn't shatter we'd wake up as World Series champions. Why are so few people talking about it?

I believe in my heart of hearts that it was a swing with home run rizz. Like the ball was going down the middle and even with a majority of the momentum dissipated it still popped pretty high in the sky. We've seen Kirk hit that stance time and time again after hitting a perfect zinger and it looked picture perfect this time. It was destined for the ceiling of the Skydome. I can't imagine how pissed off he is.

I brought up the bat breaking too. Honestly comical how many random things went the dodgers way.

I happened to be downtown last night, it was honestly magical the way the energy was after the 3rd inning, at the top of the 8th you could have sworn this was it, this city was going to bring home another championship but alas it wouldn't come to be.
