I think that's the most pessimistic I have ever been in my life particularly when the choice of optimism is firmly on the table.

This will be a battle but I am not willing to give into the Knicks. If Ayo plays I think we have enough.

This always seemed like a likely loss spot. The Knicks are good, at home, and it's difficult to beat the same team twice, especially if they are more talented than you.

But, if they do win....the hype is going to go into overdrive.

Just watching the NBA for a long time. Knicks are going to have a raucous crowd behind them, probably the refs. A good bit of anger after a disappointing start to the season. Etc.

This game feels like one of those "schedule losses" just like the Denver one upcoming.

The Philly game is the lost to me. The Knicks we have played well. Embiid on the floor has been an auto lost.

Coldfish it is good to see your post. Your point of view is needed. You normally are very logical about your points.

The refs are the question mark but it can work for us too. Remember we are the 3 biggest market. If the League believe we can take off. They will not push the agenda.

I'm not as confident in the Knicks as some. They are working in a new coach, KAT is banged up, Hart is hurt, so is Mitch Rob. It will be a close game I'd imagine the entire way, Knicks at home hard to bet against but not seeing a blowout.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

I woke up and saw a significant 2Q deficit. However, in early 4th, the Knicks breakdown and cannot continue running with us at our pace. KAT gets frustrated. Hart and Clarkson get exposed. Bulls go on something like an 18-4 run and win game by 5-7.

Book it.

They're still adjusting to the new coach. If it was still Thibs, I would agree. But not with the new staff.

Bulls win

My prediction is we win again today and any remaining semblance of restraint, realism, or level-headedness in regards to how good this team is and how early the season is goes straight out the window.

Pandemonium and bedlam ensues.

Bulls win

They're still adjusting AND Mike Brown is a terrible head coach. Like there's a reason he was their 20th choice after they failed to get permission to steal any coaches who had a job.

But the Knicks had to keep Brunson and the boys happy so they hired a guy who won't scream at them for taking a defensive possession off in January.

We will see how things go tonight. We are substantial dogs tonight so it will be interesting to see how things go.

The hype forest fire has already started - it's just a tentative burn.

I agree. It will be crazy come Monday morning on mainstream media if we win tonight.

Agree, if the bulls do manage to win tonight, we'll see them all over the place. It'd be awesome.

Ayo will play. A bruise will loosen up after a warmup.
